1018 W First Street: unkempt lawn and unkempt porch. A disgrace for the neighborhood.

The sidewalk along Winslow between Henderson and Picadilly, the south sidewalk next the Sherwood Greens, has two spots in need of repair. One portion of the sidewalk is sunk in and the other portion is crumbling. There are several people with mobility issues who use that sidewalk and also many runners use that sidewalk as well. The photos I am sharing are a year old so the problem has gotten worse. Thank you.
We own a business at 14th and Walnut and often see horrible accidents at the corner of 14th and Walnut. We also see DAILY CLOSE CALLS with both pedestrians, cars/trucks and now certainly scooters! There are no stoplights between 17th and (I believe) 10th street. Coming down the hill from 10th street cars/trucks often RACE down the road right in front of us. Having a stoplight at the intersection I feel would reduce the number of speeding vehicles headed towards 17th street. Just this morning I saw someone walking across the street as two cars were speeding down Walnut. I don't know if one of them was distracted or not, but the person crossing the road nearly was hit and I am sure would have been killed. Thank you for looking into this.
10th street from indiana to bypass, sorry i've got a new car & would like to keep front end under it. Also whats up with third & Jordan again rough intersection hard on front ends, plus when you slow down for these rough roads, you about get bit in the tail, so i'd like to see one of get fixed so i can drive on campus without losing my front end or strut . Thank you for listening

Mayor Hamilton, wonderful editorial in the New York Times. Couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for stepping up and putting this issue on the big national stage.
On east side of Ballantine Street, between Atwater and E. Third St., there is a large pothole. It was repaired several months ago, but is even larger now.
Dear Mayor Hamilton, Thank you for your op-ed piece, “Pistols in the Pool, Machine Guns on Parade and Nothing We Can Do,” published in the NY Times. You message was clear, passionate, and eloquent while posing the crucial question of how to keep our town safe and clarifying how we’ve arrived at these untenable circumstances. Your timing for pointing out Republican Vice President nominee Mike Pence as the source of this situation in particular is appreciated. My husband and I are so glad your message was given this platform. As parents of a son in law enforcement, we were also glad you addressed how hazardous the lack of gun restrictions in Indiana is for police officers. Thank you for taking this stand. Please know you have my support. Sincerely yours, Melissa Keller
Someone has tagged the telephone pole on the corner of 7th and Maple in front of 720 W 7th St. This is my second report of this.
