I have already cut the tree into manageable pieces and placed the debris by the side of the road in front of my yard, ready for pickup. I would like to make known to you that I was a victim of racial profiling by one woman that works at the Bloomington Fire Department. This happened June 10 between 11:30 am to 12 noon at the Upper Cascades Lions Den shelter that she attended an event of Ivy Tech Community College. I was helping out and she asked me where I am from then I answered her I’m from Bloomington, then with an attitude asked me again where are you originally from? Me and my friend got caught off guard and answered her I’m from question.. Then she said that she was born and raised in New York then asked me why am I hear in Bloomington. It was so shocking to me that somebody approached me and my friend that way. Her name is Natalie and she was wearing a Bloomington Fire Department uniform. I hope this gets taken care off coz I’ve been serving I. This community for a long time and I have never experienced this in my life. I hope this will not fall on deaf ears. Thank you

Bike parking infrastructure at SW corner of Lincoln and Kirkwood was removed for sidewalk work and has not been put back. It’s the best parking rack in the city; please replace it.

Sorry to report that the top of the Kentucky Coffee Tree in the ROW was snapped off in the storm. Still hanging up there. Can someone come by with a crane and free the top part so that it will drop? We can take care of it once it's on the ground. Please don't take the whole tree out.
