The cover for the water meter is very loose on the sidewalk. It presents a hazard for people walking and for strollers and wheelchairs.
There is a watering station for humans and dogs located on the Clear Creek Trail, 1/6th of a mile south of the Gordon Pike overpass. The button for the dog watering part of the station is sticking, resulting in the water continually running. This was observed Thursday, September 11 at 8:40 a.m.

We have a safety issue at Zikes Rd., south. At the top of Zikes Road we have many families with young children who play out in the yards and ride their bikes. We have a speeding problem Zikes Road. This needs addressed. People come up the road going north at high rates of speed. I would hate to see a child get hurt or killed. This is an ongoing problem. We need speed bumps here on Zikes Road.
The Speed indication sign does not work. It hasn't worked in a very long time. People speed down this section of high street like it's their job. Someone is going to end up getting hit. This sign needs to be a reminder that this is a 30 mile limit and a school zone. Please fix it!!!
There’s an oversized blue truck that constantly parks partially on the curb. Today its tires touch the sidewalk. For a month it’s been without license plate(was smurf1) and not sure it’s street legal-/tires way wider than truck body, etc. Noisy.
All summer a fishing boat on a trailer is parked in front of a residence. Sometimes the guy goes fishing but always brings back his boat and keeps it parked on the street. Is this legal to store a boat on a city street? Neighbor said he complained last summer but nothing was done. Thanks.
Not sure which category this belongs under. Recently, Brawley (of course) tore out the little deck on the front of this building and then replaced it with a huge deck that completely covers the front yard all the way to the sidewalk. Attached is a picture what it used to look like. It looked junky, but the new one looks like something a restaurant along 4th Street would have for customers to sit outside and eat in. Is it even legal for them to do this in a residential area? Did they get a permit to do this?
People are parking on the south side of Cottage Grove just west of Lincoln, which normally is ok but they are parking *all the way to the corner* of Lincoln, making it difficult to turn left onto Cottage Grove from Lincoln. But they really can't be blamed because the yellow curb there was ripped up over the summer when they put in the ADA-compliant plates and then didn't finish the job. Could the curbs indicating no-parking sections in this area be repainted yellow?
