Potholes, Other Street Repair

Case Date:
12/16/2025

I was driving on 3rd Street just west of College Mall Rd. (by the church). My car hit a pothole in the road which destroyed the front right tire on my car. I will leave the care at Firestone overnight but I will need to have the tire replaced. I am hoping the City of Bloomington will pay for my new tire. Thank you.

I would like to go metal detecting in the city parks such as Bryan Park, Karst Farm Park and Cascades Park and read that I needed to get permission from the Parks and Rec department. I am always careful not to leave any trash behind and to carefully fill any holes after. I am also careful not to interfere with other's use of the park.

Reported by BikeSmith (112 S College) a homeless shelter made out of cardboard was erected on their rear deck, between 113 S Gentry and 117 S Gentry, next to 119 S Gentry. The cardboard has been cleaned up. The individual(s) are no longer on site. We wanted the issue documented by the City of Bloomington. Thank you. Mike at Olympus Properties
