This says I am outside city limits, however I have a Bloomington address?
Some pretty large potholes in front of the small parking lot to the park.
Why is there no street light at 3rd and Jackson? It's dark as shit
I don’t remember what the initiative is called, but someone planted trees and the city stopped mowing a large swath of Butler Park a year or two ago. Predictably, invasive plant species immediately colonized the area once mowing ceased. I understand the sentiment of trying to re-naturalize a space, but it’s counterproductive if we’re just going to create another xenotope. If city staff don’t have the time to maintain the new space and control the invasive plants, then I recommend that mowing be resumed in the meantime.
Downed tree from storm yesterday currently resting on communication line cables.
The downspout daylight from either 521 or 523 S. Park has been spilling mud onto the sidewalk for months. At this point, the entire width of the sidewalk is covered by a layer of mud that is dangerous when wet. This mud slick covers part of an accessible curb cut. Both houses are rentals.
There is a vehicle that parks on the sidewalk at this location almost daily, preventing bike and foot traffic from utilizing the sidewalk.
At the Dollar General in Ellettsville, the ashtray is located right next to the propane tanks. It seems a bit dangerous to have people smoking next to propane tanks, but eh, what do I know?
