The streetlight at the intersection of Woodburn Ave and 15th street is out and has been for several weeks. I have reported this outage several weeks ago since I live at 1020 N Woodburn which is 1/2 block from this light. My house is part of the Maple Heights Neighborhood Association. This area of Woodburn is quite dark. Is there any way that Duke can prioritze the repair of this light? I thought I would ask before I discuss the problem with the HT Hotline, the Mayor's office and Duke. I understand if larger outages would take a larger project, but this is a single light that has up till night be very reliable. Thank you for your efforts to help.

Icy, snow covered sidewalk made it difficult for walking in front of Micro Motors drive. Also a problem around the corner on Grimes at the other entrance to Micro Motors.

This has been an eyesore for too long. While mowing my property at 104 East Davis this weekend, I noticed that the Circle K property along the East alley has a place where the trash has now piled up, the alley is a mess from items that blow out of the Circle K dumpster and I noticed needles laying around and a bunch of empty alcohol bottles stacking up. It has become an eyesore on the neighborhood and I worry about kids finding these needles.

The alley next to the 1104 N Grant house (sits at the corner of 15th and Grant) is half blocked by broken down cars. We have a driveway to our home that is only accessible by this alley. Our standard size cars have issues coming in and out of this alley. Please help. THANK YOU!

Hi Mayor Hamilton and the city of Bloomington, I am contacting you and your office regarding the problem with the deer in our neighborhood. Once again, the deer are a problem for us and they are outright dangerous. I am not sure what the city is planning on doing with the problem, but I almost feel like I want to hire a sniper (and I am an animal lover) to get them off of our property or now purchase a BB gun. I am not a violent person, but I am at my wits end regarding this issue. Will the city only do something once a deer kills a child? I have heard of stories of dogs being killed by deer as well as homes being trashed by deer who have somehow gotten into somebody's home. The latest is that my wife got a broken ankle because of a deer and it required a trip to the ER at Bloomington hospital along with missed work for both of us. Luckily we have health insurance, but for those who don't...it is a very expensive endeavor that could have been avoided if the city would do something to cull these animals. Lately we have seen a herd of 8 deer roaming around Somax. I would like your opinion on how you plan to fix this problem because I do see this as a problem in our city and especially our neighborhood. Also, I heard that the city has a 2 million dollar surplus this year and wondered if that meant we would finally get the sidewalk and repair of the dangerous culvert that has been promised to the former owners of our house as well as to us. Our taxes go up every year (Judy Sharp just assessed another increas of $50,000 to our home value which raised our taxes again quite drastically). We can't seem to ever get a break from her with her assessments every year and it is quite frustrating. Every year we pay more and more taxes and get absolutely nothing for it. The map app was off by about a block in every direction, but my actual address is 1124 W. 6th Street and the issue I’m reporting pertains to the alley on the West side of my house. Over the last few months it has turned into a muddy bog in places, and contains 8” ruts making it nearly impossible for anyone without a truck to traverse. My neighbors to the West have been parking on the street for that past couple of months. Both the North and South ends need grating and gravel. I know your department is busy this time of year, but I thought I should go ahead and place a request as the alley is likely to continue to deteriorate. Thanks!
