I live at 1602 South Renwick Blvd. The house north of me on the corner of Cathcart and Renwick Blvd is mostly finished from the outside. The yard is overgrown with tall weeds. Nothing has been done since everything began to grow in the spring. The vacant lots are kept mowed. There is also significant silt runoff into the street drains. There are pile of red mud that are being washed down the sewer drains in rivers every time it rains.
I just want to make sure when you plow and salt the roadways in Renwick you cover Cathcart and Hathaway. They were not touched on Saturday.
The lots in GentryCrest with homes under construction have not had the weeds cut down in months. The existing homeowners are starting to see vermin in the neighborhood. The developer has abandoned the neighborhood so we need someone to cut the grass and weeds around these homes.
This location needs a street sign indicating that Hathaway Courts is a dead end (or a no through street sign). Numerous vehicles each day come down the street in an attempt to get to the parking lot for the tennis courts at Southeast Park. A sign would reduce the traffic that comes down the street looking for the park.
Can you please mow the empty lots at the end of Hathaway Court? The excessive growth has now reached over 4 feet and it is becoming in g a home for animals and wildlife.
There are several sewer vents on S Hathaway Ct. and Cathcart that have no covers and some sharp exposed edges
On Thornton between Oxford Drive and Maxwell Street along the north edge of the street, then in the middle of Thornton as you get closer to Maxwell and on the south side of the street. Where Thornton meets Maxwell all along the eastern edge of that intersection, especially the southeast corner.
I work at Wininger Construction at 1605 S Walnut. Neighbor two houses south has lots of trash in back, including stolen shopping carts. Also, due to the amount of foot traffic into that home, I suspect potential drug activity. You may use the Wininger parking lot in back, to view the trash at that house. (Enter our parking lot from Southern Drive. Our office driveway on Walnut is very steep). We reported this house a year or so ago, and I think these are different tenants, but the trash is piling up again. Not a good first impression on folks patronizing our business, and appears to be a health hazard for the neighborhood. Thank you for your consideration.
(I just tried to send this, but got an error. My apologies, if this gets sent twice). I have reported this property a couple of times previously, and they seem to clean it up for a little while, then trash it again. It has a stolen grocery cart and lots of nasty trash piled up again, despite the fact that Bloomington provides trash bins and pickup service now. Still seems to be a health concern and scary to our clients who come in through the parking lot in back of our building. Also, I am still concerned with foot traffic and the likelyhood of drug activity at that home. Is there a way you can get those folks to clean up things and keep it that way? I did try to send a photo on my first try, but I think that might be why it had an error, so I will send this without the photo.
