My husband and I frequently have to use this intersection to make a U-Turn to go back West on Third street. 99% of the time, people will not yield to the sign that says to yield to the U-turn and/or they run red lights from there or off of westbound 3rd street traffic. We have lost count of the many times we have came extremely close to getting hit and involved in an accident. Just the other day we again attempted, with our green arrow, to make a U-Turn and just when I began, two (both Westbound lanes) ran their red light and went straight; ironically with A State Trooper sitting right beside us! Traffic on W. Third has gotten way out of hand. We have constantly seen vehicles running red lights (many times two at once) not only there but all the way back to the W. Third and 69 bypass intersection along with improper lane changes that nearly hit us. We are scared and stressed to the max each time we go to out. Can someone PLEASE help?

Sidewalk piece has began to rise up and protruding out of the ground 2 to 3 inches. With there being no bike lane I’m riding my transportation apparatus on the sidewalk. Two very assertive/aggressive deer. One initially on the south side of 3rd, saw three humans and three dogs and trotted from 25-50 yards away, crossed the street, and then followed us on the campus side of the street until the 3rd person in our group deterred it with waving their hat, enough for the deer to run parallel with us again on the other side of the street. Second deer looked over rock ledge at the music school, spotted us, and then proceeded to walk towards us as if to meet up right at the 3rd/Eagleson bus stop. Two deer ended up interacting with one another after the first deer crossed back to our side. Humans and dogs entered Soma to plot remainder of walking route. This area is very busy with cars, buses, cyclists, and pedestrians, and the music school constantly has people in/out of it during the summer months. I’m concerned for all parties, but I would like to know what I can do to deter a deer that is actively pursuing me. I’ve now had deer chase me twice in the last two years. Last year near Bryan Park, and now on campus. Signs to avoid the area aren’t going to cut it if the deer will follow and pursue for blocks.

Mud and metal plates on construction-temporary-alt-route of clear-creek trail are dangerous to pedestrians and cycling especially when wet

The Clear Creek Trail near the bridge construction at Gordon/Fullerton was covered in mud at the detour of the trail. I was heading from That Road toward Rockport and had to turn around due to all of the mud covering the trail. That was Saturday 9/21/2024 at 9am.
