In Spring/Summer 2023, utilities contractors excavated a hole approximately 3x3 in the sidewalk that crosses the driveway for our home located at 3702 E Reed Ct. Bloomington IN. They were installing fiber optic or another cable -- AT&T or GigaBit or some other contractor. This hole was filled with dirt and then they "fitted the broken concrete pieces" back in the hole. Needless to say, it sank about 4". Then they poured concrete on top of the hole. They then ground down the edges to even out their work. It was a poor job and it is now unsightly and a serious tripping hazard. I've seen city workers replacing sections of sidewalks in Hyde Park and elsewhere. I would like to request that this section of sidewalk be added to the list of sidewalk repairs/replacements. Please let me know if you need additional details. Thank you for addressing this issue.

Hello: Could you send a crew over to remove a fallen branch that is partially blocking the street on East Reed Court in Hyde Park. It is possible for cars to get through the street but the fall branch is blocking more than half the street thanks in advance....dave pisoni 812 327-3247...

Several potholes around cul-de-sac circle. Street is a mess, becoming muddy in places. Needs re-paved!

We are experiencing a major storm water runoff problem on our property. It has become so bad that our driveway collapsed. We have also lost some trees and fear losing additional trees. In addition, a lot of trash is accompanies that large volume of water and settles on our property in what is now a muddy swamp. I think we need to work with the churches to the east of us who have huge parking lots to address the water runoff problem that is becoming worse all the time. When the street light was installed a few weeks ago, the company working for Bloomington had to come back and cut into the boulevard and the street. They patch the street but left the hole in the boulevard. I don't know if they're done: if they are they should come back and fill in the hole. If not they should come back and rope it off. The hole appears to go under to street. There are residents walking and could step into the hole and get hurt, possibly sprain and ankle or fall. Please note this corner is also a pick site for students riding the bus.

I was taking my child to school at University this morning. There has been a crew working on the power lines on 10th street. This morning they seemed to be getting a later start. It was about 8:25 and the trucks were just arriving. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for traffic coming from the east on 10th street. Several children were late to school because it seems the company didn't have a handle on the traffic control. I may have missed it but I saw no one managing traffic at Smith or on the eastside of 10th street. On a school morning, I would expect the crew would be set up and ready to handle the traffic prior to the start of school.

One lime bike was left on the sidewalk, blocking the accessibility ramp for wheelchair sidewalk access. The scooter has been there for two days.
