Part of this tree hangs over onto this property, 1431 N Kinser Pk, but the majority hangs over the street. I spoke with the property owner about this tree back in mid April about him taking care of this hazard. Nothing got done and he moved. Early summer a large limb fell into the street one night obstructing traffic and about 2 weeks ago another large limb fell into our driveway, damaging our fence. As time goes by, more of this tree is dying and at some point it's going to fall into the street,blocking both lanes,taking out the power and phone lines and hopefully not injuring anyone. The mail carrier doesn't stop there anymore so I guess he had his mail forwarded.

I would like to thank Officer Barnes , and also let her superior know that officer Barnes is a great police officer. I am from Chicago, and was visiting my daughter in Bloomington, unfortunately I was lost, and didn't know how to get back to her apartment. I met Officer Barnes as I sat in the parking lot of shopping center that has office max, dollar store etc. my daughter was at work, and I was stuck. Officer Barnes told me she could assist me in getting to my daughters apartment which was on Rolling Ridge street. I was so impressed with her helpfulness that I had to share it with her Police department. My daughter rearranged her work schedule to come and get me.
I live on W Smith Avenue in Bloomington Indiana and this is a brief clip of the construction that continues to go on literally steps outside my apartment. I am shooting this video from just inside my door. I am most concerned with the extreme noise pollution that has to violate the noise ordinance, not to mention the safety hazard and risk management nightmare presented by the fact that less than 5 feet and some yellow caution tape separates my front step and a 15+ foot drop. We have not been contacted by anyone working on this project or any city officials, except that we were notified by our landlord that they afraid that our 'car was going to fall into the hole.'
