Parking Violations 814 South Eastside Drive. Every day the illegal number of tenants at 814 S. Eastside Drive block my father's (a senior citizen) ability to get out of his driveway because they are violating parking ordinances (Parking in the street -and extending out of driveways). the taco bell at walnut & 7th street has removed every bit of snow from their parking lots, but they haven't even made an effort to clear their sidewalks.
When will the bike lanes be plowed? Adams St., Lincoln Street near the MCPL, W. 7th St. If Bloomington wants to be designated as a great city for bikes, the bike lanes and street edges need to be cleared after snowstorms. Great bking cities like Copenhagen have plows just for bike lanes.
HINKLE'S Hamburgers has there driveway nicely plowed but the sidewalk along the street, as usual, not shoveled. When will they ever get a ticket?
On the north side of East Third between Hillsdale and the 45-46 bypass, all of the residences and most of the businesses have not cleared their sidewalks. (The only clear stretch of sidewalk is in front of Utopia KTV.) In particular, Bloomington Chiropractic, Sahara Mart, Travelodge, and Red Lobster have not cleared their sidewalks. East of the bypass, Arby's and McDonald's have not cleared their sidewalks. Could you please enforce the city's rules about clearing sidewalks after snowfall? Thanks!
On the east side of Kingston Dr. just north of East Third, someone has plowed a large pile of snow onto the sidewalk/pedestrian walkway between MainSource bank and Big Red Liquors. Pedestrians are forced into traffic to get around it. I think there's no sidewalk on the west side of the street, so this is the only way for pedestrians to proceed north on Kingston.
