Traffic Related Complaints
- Case Date:

Trying to travel anywhere on the South side is deplorable. Finish a project before you close down more roads. There is no one working on W Gordon Pike anymore and you started E Rhorer. Then you have Country Club shut down and just put up signs that Grimes is going to be closing soon. What the hell? This is a shit show. You are making it impossible to travel from East to West and causing MASSIVE traffic backups. Please finish Country Club or Gordon before you close down Grimes too. Did you even bother to stop and think these decisions through? If so I would like to know who in what world decided all these closures was a good idea, on top of Tapp being closed and 37 being worked on, let alone other projects in Bloomington.

TO: SOLARIZE BLOOMINGTON FAMILIARIZATION MEETING
I am registered to attend this meeting tonight, May 22. I am sorry to say that I cannot be there. I definitely will register for one of the remaining meetings. Would it be possible, in the event that are materials distributed at tonight's meeting, for me to stop in somewhere and pick up the handout materials within the next few days? Thank You very much

Parking Meters and Citations
- Case Date:
- 5/22/2018
I parked at a parking meter on 6th street at the north end of the justice building just after 1:00 p.m. today, 5/22/18. I did not have any coins so I attempted to pay with my debit card. I inserted my debit card three separate times and was never able to use it to pay; the screen giving me option to increase time never appeared and instead I was only getting the screen showing rates. My maroon Suzuki Vitara is still parked in this spot. I wanted to send this message to report a non-functional meter and to cover myself in the event I find a ticket on my car later today when I leave the justice building.

I would like to politely request that that HVAC in the skywalk from the 4th Street parking garage to Fountain Square Mall be repaired. It is fast becoming a tropical sauna experience to walk through there.
Thank you,

Hi Virgil,
I wanted to follow up with an email you forwarded to yourself today. The issue wasn't just a slight sprained ankle. Robin BROKE her ankle which required 2 weeks of a cast and 2-3 months of an air cast. We had to cancel a prepaid trip to CA because of this incident with a deer that would not have been the case if there were no aggressive deer in Bloomington. I know this might seem like a slight case to you, but it is huge for us. Once again, we have health insurance, but if we didn't...it would have been a huge Emergency Room expense, Orthopedic doctor expense x 3 and physical therapy. Missed time from work, etc. This isn't just a slight matter and I am sure if it had happened to someone else in the city it might have been looked at a little more seriously. The owners before us had been fighting the deer for years before they sold the house to us and now we are fighting the deer issue. Once again, will it take a death of a child (which I am sure will happen) before the city will do something about the urban deer problem? We have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying to have a decent garden and fighting these deer and every year their population keeps growing and doing more havoc to the city of Bloomington's resident's gardens as well as the danger they cause and nothing gets done about it.
