At approximately 612 N Walnut, owned by Rachid Maidi, there is a giant, abhorrent weed that's matured into a small tree. Please see that it is removed.
Case #153480 Hello again. It appears that the "wildfowers" which were blocking the vision of drivers exiting Prospect Hill neighborhood on Euclid and Second street are back again this year!!!!! Sorry to complain again about the same problem, but it is a very dangerous effort to turn onto Second street from this corner due to the rise in the road which obstructs vehicles traveling from town toward 37 and with the patch of weeds growing next to the street, the oncoming cars cannot be seen until they are practically at the intersection. Surely the homeowner has not forgotten the complaint from last year, but it would be advisable to remind them of the dangerous situation before there are some serious accidents. Thank you for looking into this problem.
The HOA where I live does not allow trash or recycle containers to be outside my condo except on pickup days. I do not have a garage. The new solid waste and recycle carts are designed for outside. I am not going to put two of these in my kitchen or any other room in my house. They are too large for the closet in the kitchen. The only solution is to store them outside. I do have a patio but space is limited. I also do not want to set on the table of my patio and eat my lunch next to what are the equivalent of two dumpsters. I don’t want my grandchildren to play next to them either. I contacted Anahit at the City of Bloomington legal department and he told me to contact the public works department. I contacted Valerie and she forwarded my request to the sanitation department about one week ago. I have heard nothing from you. What if anything has the City of Bloomington done about dealing with HOAs? Can you help?

Refers to closed case 160504. 1807 E Second Street: Sorry to be a pest, but I wonder what action was taken,as reported in an email to me. Monday we had trash pick-up and the open trash cans are still there, just as they were last week. Also, the grass, especially on the right side of the house, has not been mowed and is getting wilder every day.
The City Council's page has the wrong phone number listed under the header. It should be 349-3409.
