I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest. The Polly Grimshaw Trail is in dire need of bush and tree trimming. The east bound "lane" is overgrown and in many places only two or three feet of the west bound "lane" is usable so that two bicycles would not be able to pass at the same time without one of them leaving the trail. A particular hazard is just east of the Pete Ellis crossing where a recently broken branch of a locust tree (the kind with thorns) is covering most of the trail. A thorn could easily puncture a bicycle tire. I realize that Parks and Recreation has always denied having jurisdiction over this trail. But this was the only link I found to report this. Please pass this request on to which ever department would be able to handle it. Thanks so much!

I am writing to you on behalf of the Blue Ridge Neighborhood Association Board to reaffirm our sidewalk request made on March 11th of 2014 and appearing on page 85 of the 2015 Council Sidewalk Committee Packet. As you may know the neighborhood of Blue Ridge is bounded by College Ave on the West, Dunn Street on the East, and Old State Road 37 (and, in part, the Cascades trail) on the North. While Blue Ridge has many positive aspect, unfortunately walkability and biking accessibility to the rest of Bloomington is not one. Dunn Street is narrow, with low visibility hampered by hills, and College Avenue has high-speed traffic. Bloomington Mass Transit does not serve our neighborhood. These factors combine to make walking or biking into or out of Blue Ridge a challenge. It would be of great benefit to our neighborhood if some means could be found to connect our neighborhood via sidewalks to the rest of Bloomington and give our 220 households a means to safely access Bloomington other than by car. With that goal in mind, we request consideration of a sidewalk on North Dunn Street connecting SR 45/46 to Tamarack and ultimately Lakewood Drive. We thank you for considering this matter.

the house on the NW corner of W.8th and Fairview has for years had invasive weeds in the front yard along with orange traffic cones from the city.I am not speaking about the sunflowers by the porch.After they purchased the house no attempt was made to cut down the overflow of vines/weeds. Please come to the Near WEst Side- so close to your offices.

hi, there is condo building located @ 14th and North Dunn St that a couple months ago had a white picket fence erected along the sidewalk/curb. There is also benches and chairs. If the company that owns this has that right I understand. I own a house I rent out in the area as well and it runs along the street in a similar fashion. I might want to add a fence along the sidewalk or street for a little hang out/party area as well in the future if that is allowed.

Unknown make and model Black Two door Plate number: 914EPD Has not moved in months Extremely close to corner-causes cars turning right onto Roosevelt (traveling north) from 8th (traveling west) to nearly hit the vehicle when it is dark outside. Extremely unsafe, and quite an eyesore!

The Park on Morton complex has a sidewalk from the northeast corner of the lot that leads down to College Avenue. Not only does this sidewalk not have lighting along it's path, but it is covered by debris which could cause injury. The last level of steps has tall grass that has not been cut (6 inches and growing), nor has the sidewalk been cleared of debris leading to College Avenue. Also, near the bottom of the steps there is a dead tree above it that come the next rain/storm could injure someone. The property management team seems to "forget" about the additional property they built on, which includes the hill behind the buildings and between the sidewalk and train tracks. If the city could please assist in having this area of the property maintained properly by the property owners, it is appreciated.
