Large green lettering with black outline on concrete retaining wall of property at NW corner of W 7th and Elm - says "Crimps"
Hi, I ride my bike to work from Tamarron to North Walnut. Usually I take the bike route, including the Grimshaw Trail beside the train tracks, then cross the Bypass to Eastgate. Because of the construction on the Bypass, Eastgate is now closed, but there is no warning until you actually get there, which is very inconvenient. I also don't know how else I can get to my destination without either going all way down to 3rd, which would add about 10 minutes to my trip in each direction, or take my life into my hands by riding on 10th (I know, I know, the spandex brigade do this, but at 49 I've moved beyond the "live fast, die young, leave a good looking corpse" philosophy). What I would like to know, is how can I get to work safely if I can't go from the Grimshaw Trail over to Eastgate, and why do you not warn cyclists a little earlier (like say at Pete Ellis Drive and maybe Union Street on the other side) that Eastgate is closed so we don't waste even more time heading in that direction? Thanks, Gerry Matthews

2 hr sign on the north side of E. 7th St. (beside Scotty's Brewhouse) is twisted.
The stop sign @ E. 6th St. & N. Grant (northwest corner) does not have any reflectivity and does not meet MUTCD regulations.
Stop sign @ N. Grant & E. 7th St. is peeling. The sign face is peeling.
The street marker "W Allen St & S. Adams St. is not visible driving south and/or east. It needs to be relocated.
Stop sign @ Tall Oaks @ W. Allen St. is badly leaning.
The location is Maxwell La. & Sheridan Rd. (I don't know how 311 W. 8th st.came up on this form!) I leave 834 Sheridan to go to High St. via Maxwell about 4-5x/week for the past 7 years, and I've always thought how helpful it would be to have a stop sign on Maxwell to make a left turn there safer. Cars going east on Maxwell are not seen as I stop at Sheridan until about 2-3 car lengths distance because they are coming up a hill. Many times, even though I've looked carefully, a car will come up behind me quite close after I've made my left turn, & often it's because I think the other car might be going a bit fast. A stop sign here could make the turn much safer. (This form needs a "reply requested" option. I would appreciate a reply!Thank you.)
