The north sidewalk between Indiana & N Dunn tends to get extremely muddy and hazardous when it rains or snows, and remains that way for a long time. Maybe the location of 518 is the spot, but I don't know the house numbers; the problem spot is about the 2nd house from Indiana. I have been experiencing this for many years, so this has gone unattended. Another location in which snow removal is never done: the south sidewalk on 6th St., off of Dunn, in front of the 3 houses where students live.

Spring has started and the outdoor smoke coming from the Barbecue is in full force at the Short Stop food-mart on North Smith Road. My wife and I had three meetings with the City Council about this issue in 2015. And 2 recorded meetings with the council as a whole and a second meeting a few weeks later. The smoke issue was to be addressed for this location. But Chris Smith sold the store without implementing the standards the City Council had requested he perform. He was supposed to install and indoor smoker by December of (2015) that never happened. And he then sold the business in spring of 2016. As an example of how bad this smoke is. I hung wet laundry outside yesterday (Wednesday 4-25-18). Hoping for that nice fresh air smell when it was dry. Our clothing smelled like we had been next to a campfire. So I had to rewash all of the clothing. This has become a HUMAN HEALTH hazard and it has not been taken seriously. The city did nothing after our meetings to address SMOKE issues from cooking outdoors. I really hate to call the Fire department each time I smell smoke. As the cost to the city will be ridiculous for putting out (3) outdoor smokers. But that is what I am going to start doing. As we cannot breath. She had a lung removed and everyone is turning a blind eye towards this fact. Let me know what the city can do. Our district representative Allison Chopra was at the meetings as she was running for office and won the election. But I was told she had slept since the meetings and did not remember the restrictions placed on the smoke issue. Stop sign is sawed off with rusty nails sticking out of it, safety hazard for bikers and pedestrians

Every other street in our neighborhood has a "No Outlet" sign at the intersection before the end of that street, but we do not have one on N Roosevelt. We get a LOT of people trying to use Roosevelt st as a through road to 10th street, but the road ends. I live at 429 N Roosevelt, and it is really tight at the end of the road and we get countless people a day using our yard to turn around, damaging our yard. This could be solved by putting a "No Outlet" sign, similar to the same signs on Clark and Adams, so that people do not mistakenly go down our road and have to turn around in my yard. Thank you!

At the crossing between walnut and college between the bypass an 17th (next to verve) The westbound lane has a detour sign pointing right. There is only one tiny one way sign. This will end in someone inevitably going the wrong way following the badly placed detour sign.
