The residents at 1122 W. 6th Street have never taken their trash bin/recycling bin off their sidewalk or front lawn (just off the sidewalk) since the very start of when the bins were delivered. They frequently just leave it right in the middle of the sidewalk for days. According to the rules, they aren't supposed to be there all week.
Sidewalk is a sheet of ice and this difficult to pass.

I just returned home from downtown Bloomington. Not one single sidewalk leading to a crosswalk has been shoveled. I found it quite dangerous to walk through the snow and ice to cross the street. I am required by law to clear my sidewalks within 24 hours after the end of a snow storm and do so religiously. Yet here it is three days after the end of the last storm and no effort has been made to clear the crosswalk sidewalks. Why must I obey the law if our own city government and mayor are aloud to violate this law. This is inexcusable not to mention discriminatory. Shame on Mayor Hamilton and his government. The sidewalk surrounding Taco Bell on the corner of 7th and Walnut is impassable. It is a lethal hazard. Can you ask them to clear it? Walk it yourself to see. Thank you
Hello, I'm attempting to get this resolved before it becomes a hard frozen hazard as it has in year's past. This is the sidewalk next to Taco Bell at 7th & Walnut. It is also the only way I can get to One City Centre from the Walnut Street Garage. I don't understand how they get a "pass" on sidewalk cleanup, yet CFC is very prompt about clearing the walk way (see clear sidewalk on horizon of attached photo). These tenants never put back their trash and recycling bins. The sidewalk is narrow and the road busy. I sometimes have to take my dog into busy 3rd St. to get around the bins. Problem is at 411 3rd St. and has been an ongoing problem.
I believe this house is vacant because this trash has been here for at least the past two weeks. It is very close to the sidewalk and appears that it may have been disturbed by animals. It is at the house on the north side of 7th St, the second house west from the corner of 7th St and Dunn St.
422 Dunn St. Trash overflowing and blowing into the street and sidewalk.
111 Dunn St. (The old 420 shop location). It is now a rental and loose trash is thrown down onto the sidewalk and all over.
