The north bound walk signal at Atwater and Indiana/Henderson does not turn on automatically and sometimes does not work even if the button is pushed. I was nearly hit today by a driver turning right because the signal did not turn on. It should be made automatic so that friction between drivers and pedestrians are reduced so close to the heavily pedestrian campus.
This is a sightline/sign issue, I am Bob Loviscek and I reside at 605 N Smith Road. The picture that is attached is from the end of my driveway looking South. The address of this issue is 601 N Smith Road. The treeline on this property is creating a significant safety issue by not being able to see northbound traffic coming on Smith Road. The trees also have overgrown to the point they cover the Bridge Height sign. I have emailed the offices of HAND and Planning and Transportation to help correct this problem and it still has not been taken care of. If you turn onto Gorley Pk going east off of Kinser, there is a tree branch sticking out into the roadway from the brush at the first sharp turn. It's a few feet into the roadway a few feet off the ground and is about 6" in diameter.
Referencing Case #168657 I am hoping to hear something about this. Actually, I am hoping the City could maintain its alley and spread a load of stone on it. It has been 96 days. I haven't even had any response let alone a yes or no. If I need to put down a layer of 53s myself, I am more than capable of doing so.
This summer's paving project on Rhorer Road, in effect, left us with a speed bump at the base of our driveway (777 Rhorer Road). We would appreciate a smoother transition. We are not sure why the same issue was fixed for our neighbor (775 Rhorer Road) and ours was then ignored. We are concerned about long term alignment problems for our vehicles.
Just outside my driveway past the front cement, the street asphalt is deteriorating. Could be a safety issue if not tended to.
A tree between the road and sidewalk at 1002 E. Heather has two large branches (about 9 inch diameters) broken off. The branches are blocking the sidewalk and extending into the road. The remained of the tree may have to be removed also.
Would it be possible to get crosswalk lines painted on N. Oolitic Dr at West 11th St.?
