The vacant lot at 214 W. 7th St. where a building was torn down two years ago had trash, debris and weeds that have not been cleaned since the building was removed. The property owner of the adjacent commercial building at 216-220 N. Rogers would like the owner to clean up the lot. Thank you.

Resident Miklos Santorini contacted the Office of the Mayor's Facebook page in October detailing the presence of medical waste at 718 S. Rogers. Santorini stated that, "This building is part of the hospital complex. There has been a build up of of trash, garbage and even bodily fluid specimens behind the dumpster there for over 2 years. I have tried contacting the hospital about this, but the PR people say it's a problem with the waste hauler, not them." Our intern contacted HAND at that time. A rep from HAND stated that they would be sending a neighborhood compliance officer over to take a look. Santorini contacted us again today (Jan 29, 2019) about the same property stating that, "...there is a buildup of medical waste around the dumpster. Vials of blood and urine, etc. I walked by today and it is still there, just more rotten and frozen. Does anyone in the city have the ability to at least check this out and maybe have it cleaned up?"
1701 Circle Drive and Eastside Drive. A desk has been sitting at the edge of the yard for weeks at the Eastside Drive side of the property. It will not magically disappear as the tenants seem to think
Lots of cardboard boxes that are falling apart have been sitting in the yard at 1709 Circle Drive near the corner of Eastside Drive for weeks now.
Case #167236 has not been resolved. 1718 Circle Drive: a green tarp and a bunch of sticks and branches have been sitting in the yard for weeks now. Maybe the empty trash cans are still there too. Do we have to wait until yard waste collection resumes in April before that yard waste is removed? It should be bundled and put aside the house, and the green tarp folded and put out of sight. 914 S Eastside Drive, several branches at the edge of the yard. They have been there for weeks. Yard waste will not resume until April 1 and they won't be taken as is, because they are loose and large.
