On the north side of Winslow, then up Henderson the overhang from trees impairs mobility whether walking, biking, assisted mobility, strollers. The same is true on the east side of Sare Rd north of Rogers (the Rogers that runs east and west) and Hillside. Sidewalks have to be walked around because of all the overgrowth. I'm sure there are lots of other places in town but these are where I have been recently.
Parking on unimproved surfaces off the alley between Jordan and Highland north of Second.
There are no sidewalks at all on S Park Ave., S. Stull Ave., or S. Fess Ave between Bryan Park and Hillside (except on Grimes St).
We have seen increased instances of deer being hit by cars behind our home (1519 Bradshire) at Winslow and S. Xavier Ct. in the last year and would like signage posted to alert drivers that there is a wildlife hazard. We commonly observe afternoon eastbound drivers failing to stop at the stop sign at Winslow and Allendale and speeding down the hill toward Xavier Ct. where they regularly encounter wildlife. The greenway just east of Xavier Ct. is a common crossing point for deer, coyotes, foxes and other wildlife. For the protection of the drivers, the many children who live in the area, and the wildlife, we request that signage be posted. We would also be glad to see increased monitoring of the stop sign at Winslow and Allendale. Thank you.
I would like to request a traffic speed study, or at least greater speed limit enforcement, for cars traveling on East Maxwell Lane between Rose Ave and Highland Ave. The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but it's a half-mile straight shot from High Street to Highland Ave, and cars regularly travel well above the speed limit past Maxwell Terrace Apartments and several homes with kids playing outside. Given that Maxwell Lane is a signed bike route that also has a blind hill, I hope something can be done to slow speeders and reduce the possibility of accidents in this area.

Newly installed fencing is trashed pallets. What a bummer. This should not be allowed in the name of sustainability or reclaimed goods! This is an owner-occupied neighborhood with residents that have been living here for decades. They're the pillars of Broadview. New owners moved in and regardless of good intent, have immediately turned this upside down.
