The resident at 3030 86th st Bloomington always parks his car halfway in the street. Currently the snow plows can not clear the area and it’s at an already dangerous intersection. Please endorse parking requirements with him to ensure safety for all.
My mailbox has been damaged by the snow plows. The door to my mailbox has been ripped off and one side is starting to come apart. I am wondering who I need to contact about getting this fixed/replaced.
On Thursday March 14, part of this tree came down at 1024 S. Graywell drive due to the strong winds. I reported this thru this system, was notified that the case was assigned to Danna Workman and then I received a notice on March 15, Friday, that the case was closed by Chris Axom and that the debris had been removed. That is 100% not the case. This tree is still down, is still blocking part of the road, is still laying in the common space and is STILL blocking the sidewalk.
Broken glass on the sidewalk beside Faculty Lane, between 3rd st and Atwater Ave
Curb behind my property has disintegrated/shoveled away by snow plows. Leading to flooding in my backyard due to run off coming down Jackson St.
Sidewalk at the corner of 7th and Dunn. I am not in a wheelchair but was pushing a stroller. It was nearly impossible for me so I can't even imagine the difficult a wheelchair would have maneuvering this sidewalk. Much of the surrounding sidewalk is fairly damaged as well but this was the most severe.
There are 2 street lights on Kegg Rd. in front of the gymnasium whose anchored cables have come detached. I am not sure if this poses a hazard or not, but it makes me nervous every time I run by them and especially with so many parents and kids walking on that sidewalk. It would be nice if they could be fixed. I assume the city owns them but I'm not totally sure.
Felled tree blocking portion of sidewalk at 601 S. Woodlawn Ave.
At the South West corner of Indiana and Kirkwood-across from IU Sample Gates, and in front of IU memorabilia store, the handicap pedestrian ramp is completely deteriorated at the juncture with the road. My wife and I saw a man in a wheelchair nearly tip over, and fail repeatedly in trying to descend from sidewalk to cross street to campus. Two passerby's finally aided in his journey. It is very dangerous and unaccessible for handicapped folks.
