The sidewalk widening project along S. Henderson St. is extremely dangerous for pedestrians and a hazard for vehicles pulling in and out of Winslow Plaza as well. The contractor dug 2' deep x 2' footings for new curbs at the sidewalks crossing the entrances to Winslow Plaza and put up now warning signs, barricades, cones, or caution tape. No sidewalk closed signs have been put up. Who is supervising this project?

Some time ago, the street was patched by the curb of my next door neighbor. During this last storm the patch was raised up and broke into pieces. The larger pieces remained in that location but the rest of the patch and gravel washed down the street on it’s way to drain but ended up in front of my drive. The city was repairing the patch today and I asked if they could get the patch that was in front of my house and they said I would have to contact the city. I always remove debris that blocks drain but I never know what to do with all the gravel. If I know the sweeper is coming or I see them in the neighborhood I try to brush it into piles but the sweepers don’t generally get it all. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. House located at 3005 E. Daniel St. in Kensington has the appearance of being abandoned from the exterior. Yard has never been kept up, and nobody has been seen at this home in over a month. Front porch looks like it is falling down, yard is a major eye-sore, everything is overgrown. Mailman says he has seen nobody there in a very long time. Something needs to be done to the exterior.
I've been emailing for a year now about the fact that I am being billed for a medium garbage can but actually have a small one. Perhaps this method will work better.
