Noise from the Carlisle factory has hit an all-time point of frustration. This nuisance is loud and obnoxious with fans running 24/7. Last night there was a clear, high-pitched whine at ~1376 Hz. It was so loud and clear I could detect it with my musical tuner at the pitch F6. My neighbors are miserable and Carlisle seems oblivious to the issue.
There is a dead raccoon next to our driveway (technically on our neighbor’s property). Is there a city department that can remove the body or is that something we are supposed to do? If the latter, can it go in our regular trash? Thank you.

THANK YOU! The repairs on 1st Street west of Woodlawn are most welcome. I had reported 1010 E 1st (twice?); it had to have been one of worst in the city. I still think that couple of section shouñd have been fixed ad hoc long ago. And, that goes for other equally bad sections anywhere in the city. But, to repeat, for this recent repair, THANK YOU!!

The road in front of my house has broken up so badly that it's an eyesore for the entire street. It looks as if the foundation underneath the street has collaped and it's also damaged the drainage ditch in front of my property. My neighbor Jerry Minger called months ago to report this problem but we have had no word from the city. Jerry was told that this issue was "on the list" and would be taken care of when the weather was warm enough. Can you please call me and let me know if this is going to be taken care of? Water/sewage is coming up into our house from the street. This happened a month or two or three ago, right after the city did some work on the main in the street (2 large spots visible in picture). A plumber confirmed both times that there is no backup between the house and the street, and he got the drain snake/declogger to go into the hole (white on the left side of the driveway/this image near the bottom of the driveway) 21 feet (I have a video, separately showing the measurements) or more both times. This time he wasn't able to get the hole unclogged in the street, so it is an urgent situation for us. We are pretty sure the guys who dug in the street to remain a main caused the issue because we never had a problem before then, and the first backup into the house was a couple of weeks after that this summer. We would like the city to come scope it and fix it ASAP please. The plumber suspects that the jackhammering and digging that the big trucks did in the street caused a partial or full collapse, given where the backup seems to be from what he can tell. Please let us know when you might be able to look at it. We have little kids and really need to be able to use water in the house. Thank you!
