I'm not sure where to mention this... but, with the resurfacing of the Bryan Park tennis courts going on, are there plans to put a few Pickle Ball Courts in there? Now seems to be the right time... and the sport is gaining popularity by the minute. It is so much more accessible than tennis... and so much fun!

Referencing case #172753, I would like to point out that no,the tree actually has NOT been removed.

There is a hollow maple tree on city property at the corner of East 11th Street and Walnut Street. There is currently an active bee hive in it. Given how close the tree is to houses in the area, the fact that the tree is hollow is cause for concern. If the tree and the bee hive could be assessed, that would be appreciated. Thank you!

Last year the City replaced a dead tree in the tree plot with a service berry. However, the service berry is now more than half dead, including the main trunk. Can you replace it with something else? The City did water it all last year so I don't know what happened. Thanks.

We watched as a swarm of bees relocated themselves to a large Maple tree at the corner of 11th and Washington. We are not concerned having the bees around, and love the tree, but have some concern for the health of the tree. The bees entered the tree through several openings, so it is obviously hollow to some extent. I am asking if you have someone to assess the tree since it is on city property. Thank you.

Large (beautiful) sycamore on the SE corner of Fess/11th is encased in vines, some of which are poison ivy. This is right by the sidewalk, and appears to be in the City ROW. Is the trimming of the vines the responsibility of the owner? Elevate says IU owns this parcel. It looks like the vines are so heavy that it is stressing the tree. There is also a large maple (?) just east of it that has some vines, but it only looks like a Euonymous.

I submitted this issue already as a sanitation issue, but I was told that it is P&R's responsibility. So hopefully it will get routed to the right person this time.
There is a drainage channel at the edge of Butler Park near 10th and Fairview that is clogged with stones and sediment from recent flooding events. It needs to be dug out to allow water to drain and avoid breeding mosquitoes. Location is halfway between Fairview and the path connecting Butler Park to the B line.
