Hello. Last year there was a major rainstorm in Bloomington that managed to adversely affect the storm drainage between my house and the next door neighbor. The storm activity managed to wash out a small corner of soil on the other side of the fence. Now any time it rains and thereafter, the ground is fairly wet (puddles) and the corner with missing soil fills up. This water manages to linger for days from outside the fence and through the yard. I'm requesting someone from Stormwater to visit my home on 10 June 2022; any time of day is fine. I ask for this date because I'm off work and we can survey together. This has been an ongoing issue for some time and I'm seeking suitable remedy. I have additional photos to share, however, seeing this in person would be beneficial. In January 2023, while an optic cable was being installed on our street, the company called Vertical Underground LLC, which we were informed was contracted by the City of Bloomington to do the job, broke our sewer line (along with the lines of many others of our neighbors). We complained to one of Vertical Underground's managers who was working on fixing our neighbor's line, and he informed us that they would fix the problem and that we didn't need to worry. In order to do the repair, they had to break through our concrete driveway to repair the damage and re-pour the damaged section of the driveway. The problem seemed to be fixed for a few months, however, these past weeks, we have been experiencing the same issues that initially led us to the discovery of the damage they caused. That is, our drains are not draining, toilets are not draining and water is returning through the shower drain. We would like to request that CBU send someone to inspect the situation because we believe that the problem was not fixed properly. Thank you.

Just north of 926 S. Highland Ave., a 15 ft area of the west side of the street (and storm drain) has crumbled to gravel-size and larger chunks of asphalt. As result of an earlier complaint, a small part was patched with blacktop that has now crumbled. My concern is not the ugly appearance. If we have a 5-10 year rain storm, the runoff down S. Highland easily will clog the storm drain underneath a parking area (owned by the city) in front for my home and likely will flood the first level of my home. I have observed the enormous flow of water in the storm drain during normal heavy rain and am certain an unusual downpour will now cause flooding. Please consider sending a truck to remove the street/storm drain debris.

Due to a crack in the curb and an uneven grade, all of the water in our cul de sac floods the water meter cover and my driveway and backyard when it rains.

Having a lot of issues with the street eroding from storm water on our corner of the cul de sac. Causing multiple trip hazards and a large pot hole in front of drive way entrance. Would like to have the issues assessed and filled or a timeline for repaving within the neighborhood. Thank you
