There is a line of sight issue when pulling out onto N Walnut St from the alley just north of 1111 N Walnut St. There is a privacy fence lining the west edge of the sidewalk, and the trees in the yard of this address are encroaching into the sidewalk area and blocking the view looking southward.
Can the City not require the Indiana Railroad to install some type of flashing light, larger warning sign or something to help prevent this from happening? There has been an increasing amount of trucks hitting this bridge, at least 6 in the past year that I'm aware of.
In connection with uReport Case #178466, I now request that the intersection of Fairview and 13th Street be converted into a four way stop. If BPD is unable to enforce traffic laws due to staffing issues while there is an identifiable problem that causes citizens to fear for the safety of their body as well as their personal property, then there needs to be more constraints on the ability for people to get up to high speed on a residential street. The street is torn up across Grant and has been for months. Since bikes cannot travel on Lincoln, many use Grant as an alternative. Going across the ripped up pavement as you head across 3rd St is uncomfortable on a bike, especially when trying to quickly cross Third. I hope there are plans to repair this section soon to make travel easier for all modes of transportation.
Westside of 215 9th St. - is an old alley that needs repaired or closed down, we are having people park in the yards of 215 & 221 9th Street to make repairs to neighboring houses because the alley is not functional
The bushes alongside the east side of Fairview have grown out and over obscuring the 'no parking' sign. Over the past two years, there has been an increase in commercial vehicles (tree trimmers/landscapers) as well as delivery trucks thinking it is okay to park in front of a stop sign on a slight hill. This is obstructing the view of the intersection and creating a dangerous situation when vehicles are forced into oncoming traffic to pull around the stopped vehicle. Combine that with the reckless drivers who are speeding on 13th street, oftentimes taking the turn from 13th to go south on Fairview at very high speeds, and the result is a dangerous situation. Please improve the line of sight. Thank you.
Impossible to see oncoming traffic when pulling out of the parking garage. Hazard to other drivers as we blindly have to pull out. This road and parking garage exit is a danger to society. The city needs to improve visibility.
A large, white container filled with construction waste (apparently toxic) has been sitting on the SE corner of Madison and 7th for several months, ever since the construction of the "7-Line" bicycle path.

Around 9:45am this morning, I walked out of the parking garage at 7th and Morton, out through the lower level of the garage onto 7th Street. As I was walking out onto the sidewalk, a minivan was driving east in the bike lanes! The driver and passenger seemed lost and realized they were in the wrong place. They stopped then crossed over a break in the weird curbing there to get back into a lane of traffic. They had driven from at least Morton halfway up the block before getting out of the bike lane. This is not the first time of numerous times I have witnessed vehicles driving in or parking in the 7th Street bike lane. Is there any way to add signs or markings that make this more obvious? Also, while we are here - on Monday I was downtown driving on Morton headed north and came to a stop at 7th Street. People are really confused by this intersection. A car from the west came to a complete stop. A car from the north on Morton decided to cross 7th in front of the stopped car from the west on Morton. A car coming down the hill from the east on 7th was not intending to stop, but had to due to this car in the intersection from the north on Morton that failed to yield to 7th Street traffic. Although, the randomly stopped car to the west on 7th acting like it was a four-way stop sign certainly made matters go awry. Essentially, the entire 7th Street bike lane system is a mess of poorly designed infrastructure. A friend was telling me about how the bike lane gets blocked at 7th and Woodlawn because of the college students getting on and off buses and the bus riders have to cross the bike lanes and often do not pay any attention. A perfectly good street has multiplied the potential for accidents and injuries with this "upgrade" that got installed.
