Near the alley way at 401 N Dunn water does not drain properly and builds up with gravel and dirt making it difficult for handicap travel. 8th Street has been paved over so many times that drainage is impaired. There is quite a bit of debris there now and this holds a lot of water during a rain event. Finally the alley has been patched a little but it is in pretty bad shape and needs redone. Refer to cases #186916, #188213, and #188214. Someone ended up putting a rubber stopper in the hole at the base of the dumpster, which temporarily prevented the rats from entering it. However, rubber is a delicacy for rats (which it seems garbage-oriented people should well know) and it was soon devoured. Now the problem is back full-force, with rats running in and out of the dumpster and scurrying around the parking lot. The drain-hole is threaded on the inside, implying that the manufacturer of the dumpster had in mind (and likely supplies) a metal screw-type insert that will be rat-proof. Please ask the company to install the correct type of fitting so that this problem is permanently fixed.

There are two swastikas spray painted on utility boxes in the alleyway attached to the Osteria Rago building. I notified the restaurant on 1/19/22 and nothing has been done about it still.

Hello! The alley behind our brewery has gotten pretty bad - it is frequently traveled by delivery drivers and our own team, and has become dangerous to offload supplies and equipment. Patching or paving would be really, really appreciated.
