The vegetation along Smith Ave from Euclid to Walker is out of control AGAIN. It overgrows into both sides of Smith so cars get scratched. If you want to turn onto Smith from Buckner you CANNOT see East on Smith to know if a car is coming West on Smith. Going East and West on Smith, the same problem occurs both directions on Davisson. This is a chronic problem every year. I believe Smith is platted as 16 feet wide, but there is definitely not that much clearance. I also believe there is city law that says vegetation should be cut back 3 feet from the street edges. If owners would cut their vegetation back one foot from the paved edge of Smith it would be a lot better.
I'd appreciate contact from you after you look into this. Thank You!!
(Sorry I don't have a photo I can upload right now. If you want one, let me know.)

The overgrowth between the sidewalk and street on the NE corner of 2nd and Euclid blocks all the views of westbound traffic, creating a significant hazard. This occurs every year. The residents are apparently cultivating it. That overgrowth needs to be removed permanently.

Line of sight/safety hazard because of excessive growth in front of 820 W. 2nd Street. For those turning onto 2nd street from Euclid street, the vegetation blocks the line of site. This is especially dangerous because the property is near the top of a hill, which already obstructs line of sight.

I found 3 syringes in my back yard on Saturday morning. I did notify police dispatch, but wanted to also inform the city. We also had someone walk by the side of our house yesterday evening and got very alarmed when they saw us. Said they were cutting through to catch a ride. We live on a corner and there is no way it would have saved time. I am concerned safety wise, especially for my wife. I feel less sage then I did when I moved back to Bloomington 8 years ago.

A tree in the berm or curb strip appears to be dying and may need to be removed. I've been told these trees are the responsibility of the city. Can someone look at it and remove it if necessary? In addition, there are a few other trees on my lot which are very close to the road, and I don't know if they belong to me or the city. Can someone provide insight about this for me? Thank you.

There is a old white Ford truck (I believe it’s from the 70’s) that is broke down and it’s been here for while. Neighbor been working on it off and on which I see that it’s against city ordinance due to it parked on Howe. Just would like it moved. Definitely an eye sore. Would like to city to look in this.

For the City arborist: there are two young trees growing side-by-side at the stop sign at 3rd and Fairview. One is a black walnut that I think should be cut down so the other one can grow to its full potential. They are so close it feels like they will just compete for space. We could have one very healthy street tree as opposed to two stunted ones. Thanks.
