r: the walkway/lights are not timed right. A walker gets the hand stop sign and then the light changes too quickly for them to exit the intersection. E 10th St & Eagleson Ave, Bloomington, IN 47405, USA
My neighbor has been keeping a vacant property on W Kirkwood. Lots of junk and trash even old truck in back yard. It's a haven for rodents. He also has 3 vacant on Adams. The w Kirkwood property hasn't had anyone live their for over 10 years
There is a rental property at 1502 E. University Street whose owner is not maintaining the yard and the grass is excessively long in both front and back yard.
Nazis called in to a city council meeting. I believe it is on the record that Nazis are cowards. If we were to react by changing how you can interact with the city government, they would win. We do the same thing we did last time which is pass on all the information to law enforcement. I am not scared of a disruption during public remarks. Hijacking a public forum is normal for extremists. I caution changing rules. I believe the city council can survive three fucking Nazis.
My recycle container has a broken lid
Large stones have fallen off adjacent wall and are blocking sidewalk. Thank you. There is no contact person, address, or even photo. Not sure what to do with this one but to close it???
The wheels fell off my trashcan during today’s pick up. I’m not sure how the pick up collection people did not see this, but regardless, it is badly broken. I need a new one and I am not responsible for the breakage
Please ensure the City has substantial activity and advocacy planned for Pride month this year. The prior administration largely ignored this significant constituency, including during Pride. LGBTQ+ people are under major legislative and personal attack, and this mayor needs to stand up for them as members of our community. Is there even a LGBTQ+ board or commission to provide valued input to the administration?
Residents look to a mayor to represent them and what the city stands for. If that is standing up to hate, or for a sustainable world, the Mayor should not be too cowardice to amplify voices, instead of already chasing the next election cycle. Absolutely things like resolutions should not be priority one, but it's hard to feel safe living in a community if our mayor will turn the other way when we and/or they are being legislated against, abused, slaughtered, or otherwise harmed. How about, "The buck stops here," instead of, "Not my problem," Mayor Thompson? You're starting to sound like IU, but I suppose that's where you last held leadership. Step up for your city.
