The bushes alongside the east side of Fairview have grown out and over obscuring the 'no parking' sign. Over the past two years, there has been an increase in commercial vehicles (tree trimmers/landscapers) as well as delivery trucks thinking it is okay to park in front of a stop sign on a slight hill. This is obstructing the view of the intersection and creating a dangerous situation when vehicles are forced into oncoming traffic to pull around the stopped vehicle. Combine that with the reckless drivers who are speeding on 13th street, oftentimes taking the turn from 13th to go south on Fairview at very high speeds, and the result is a dangerous situation. Please improve the line of sight. Thank you.

The landing page for uReport states the following: "Use uReport to notify the City of community issues, such as potholes, graffiti, malfunctioning street lights, and more." Perhaps there could be a FAQ of sorts added that clarifies that broad statement. The FAQ could point residents to Duke Energy for reporting malfunctioning street lights. I appreciate the DPW staff member who submitted a request to Duke Energy on my behalf, but it probably would be best for everyone involved to be able to filter out some requests that do not need to be reported to the city. Additionally, I suggest the graffiti part be amended to state, graffiti on city property, as it is unclear that the city does not take care of graffiti on private property even if it is offensive with foul language. It has come to my attention that Indiana University is still in the year of 2022 burning coal to generate steam for heating, cooling, and processes, such as cooking or for research uses. As of 2019, the university stated on their website that they were burning 60,000 tons of coal each year, but currently there is no mention on the Facility Operation's website of coal. A quick phone call confirmed they are still burning coal but they declined to share how much they are burning. The residents of Bloomington and the surrounding areas, as well as those who work in Bloomington, are being exposed to that dirty, toxic pollution. Are there any plans to address that source of pollution being generated within the city limits of Bloomington? In the Climate Action Plan there is mention of Duke Energy's lingering archaic dependence on coal, but no mention of what IU is doing. So what is the plan? Thank you.

I work for Mackie Properties, and we manage a rental at 828 S Harvey Dr. Our tenants reported a broken water/sewer cover in their front yard last month. My coworker left CBU a voicemail about the issue 8/30/22, but I don't think we heard back, so I wanted to follow up on having this utility lid repaired/replaced. Thank you!

I reported this issue back in April. No one has touched it. There is a massive track about a foot deep right off the edge of the road. It is constantly full of mud and water that worsens every time it rains. Please take care of this before winter!!

The grate cover of a drain in a parking lot here had fallen into the drain. The drain is located inside an HOA called Madison Park. We got the cover out and reinstalled it, but it is bent and needs to be replaced. Would this be a City responsibility or the responsibility of the HOA? Thank you for your help!

The current height/grade of the curb/sidewalk causes the bottom of vehicles to scrape the sidewalk. You can see the scrape marks in the included photo.
