Graffiti on wall mural
At the end of the pier, on the support of the bench that faces north, someone has written 1488, which is a white supremacist code.
There are some racy graffitis tagged near the pile of limestone on the early history trail in RCA park, one depicting a nude female body, one saying ‘penis is very small’. There might be more but I just saw those.
What are the city's plans to remove the "Black Lives Matter" paint from the commissioned mural on the side of the Bicycle Garage facing People's Park? While I support and empathize with the BLM movement, I am concerned that the city has not addressed this year-old defacing of the mural. Recently random graffiti has also been painted on this mural, making the problem worse. Can you advise me if this mural will be restored to its original condition?
From the time you turn onto Zona Ct our streets are in very bad disrepair. Very large areas of the street crumbling and turning into very large craters.
Water meter cover in the middle of the street needs replacing. It's broken and you could trip in it if you're not careful
The southern end of Chris Lane, where it meets Azalea Lane, is badly torn up. Partial repaving of Chris Lane (last year?) missed this whole section of the street, and it has been getting steadily worse over the past year.
The double-yellow line and left-turn lane (westbound) on Highland have become very difficult to see. It looks like maybe road oil or asphalt has darkened or faded them after the recent repaving of the road. I've seen on-coming traffic (east-bound) not see the left-turn lane on Hillside to Highland, and have to swerve out of the way as cars enter the left-turn lane to go to Highland. Repainting the lines would help a lot!
Just checking in on closed case, thank you. Could sure use some asphalt thrown down if delay in paving Pickwick will be long. #175370 Potholes, Other Street Repair: Other: As rain come downhill on the street, it sometimes overwhelms our drainage tunnel. Over the years this created a line of crumble in Pickwick, in the last two years this has become a serious hazard for bicycles, pedestrians and not too good for our cars. Is there a chance we could get some blacktop put down on this? I'll be taking bids to resurface my driveway this summer, and it would be best if the street was repaired before this work gets done.
