Portapot and dumpster has been in the road for years. Owner is burying very large brush piles, several trees on city property along creek, this is occurring in a floodplain also. They have installed lights on the front and rear of home that are extremely bright.

There are homeless encampments steadily increasing in number behind my house and those of my neighbors. There are now several in view of my windows. The amount of trash is staggering, including countless hypodermic needles. Trash is regularly set on fire by the residents of the encampments, producing noxious smoke that smells terrible and is surely not safe to breathe. The city needs to do something about these encampments. Open air drug use within feet of neighborhoods with young children should not be tolerated. I've been a resident of Bloomington for a decade and I'm strongly considering moving out of town due to the city's inability to address this issue. Please do something.
Our neighbors park their boat on the street almost every day. There are 4 homes at the end of Sweetbriar Court in a cul de sac. At times this boat and other vehicles make it inaccessible for bigger vehicles to pass through. This makes it inaccessible for Bloomington Access for Senior Citizens. It would make it impossible for a fire truck or ambulance to make it through as Well as trash and recycling trucks. I would appreciate some action from the city to deal with this issue. Thank you!
I am the homeowner and have recently built an attached sunroom with sinks at this address. I need to connect the water pipe from those sinks to the city sewer line, and so would like to request a detailed sewer line map of/around my property, if available. Thanks.
People are living here, they are dumping trash and it smells so bad like pee and poop
The sewer lines for 2201, 2203, and 2207 connect together and then jointly connect to city sewer. As this was done sometime in the 1950s, is this up to current city codes? Over the past few years there have been a few sewer back-ups as a result of all lines being connected. Is there a grant available to the homeowners that will allow each of them to disconnect from each other and connect to city sewer individually? Weeds growing out of the street over over into the street
My husband and I are present members of the YMCA, and go this facility often. We are concerned about the lack of cleanliness of the locker room, bathrooms and the drinking fountains. This is a health risk to our community, with the potential for diseases. Also, the drinking fountain in the track area is warm, plus never cleaned. Another example is in the shower. I have seen something left accidently like a shampoo bottle, and I will see it there for weeks at a time. The shower smells of urine,and it is NOT clean. Again, we are very concerned about possible diseases. The health department needs to do an inspection. My husband and I have complained to the YMCA multiple times, but nothing has changed. In the grass north/south easement behind my property that runs parallel between Washington and Lincoln, just south of Davis, there is an open sewer pipe.
