Retaining wall along alley is collapsing. House is close enough to wall that structural damage could occur. Property owner is the same as 427 N. Washington, which has also recently had a retaining wall collapse, but the owners just piled the cinder block back up and left it that way. That building is not so close to the wall as to create a hazardous situation - it is just an eyesore.

We are having trouble fitting all of our trash (non-recyclables) into one trash can. As a result, we are having to store trash in our house until the following week's pickup, leading to a horrible smell and bugs throughout the house. I am requesting out residence receives a second trash can for non-recyclable items. Thank you.

Trash heap, open bags spilling over sidewalk and onto street. Unacceptable. On Washington street sidewalk. Residents need to be aware of their responsibilities and cleanup essential for a safe and civil city. Please help. A visit from city official usually solves the problem and prevents future issues. Tenants are storing trash/recycling bins alongside the street (11th). They should be keeping them out of sight (garage, backyard, etc.), as per city code.
