Dead animal in the street.
Dead animal in the street.
The constant barking and howling of dogs keeps us from being able to sleep. We were tolerable up to a point, but the daily and nightly noise is just intolerable.
This is my 3rd complaint about dogs barking and howling during the day and at night. I have received answers from Animal Control that the owners promised to get park colors. Either they are not working or it did not happen. We need our sleep at night, and we want to enjoy our yard during the day. One of our neighbors has recordings and has also filed multiple complaints. We would really like your help, again. And please do not placate us again that you have talked to the owners. They seem reticent to input. All of us look forward to a permanent solution. Why won't anyone do anything about the dog that lives in the red truck in the front part of Southcrest trailer park? It's freezing outside, no source of heat!
There is a dead deer on the north side of Hillside just west of Stier Park.
I live directly behind individuals who repeatedly let their 2 dogs outside on their small, fenced-in patio at any hour of day - most offensively before 7am on weekdays and before 8am on weekends. The dogs bark incessantly whenever they are outside, and the owners allow them to remain outside for varying lengths of time, barking to be let into the house or at neighbors on their patios. This is a public nuisance and possible animal neglect. This has been ongoing since March 2021, and the Oaklawn Park HOA refuses to address it.
Dead deer (faun) that was probably hit by a car.
There is evidence that there is a dog inside the home which is sometimes left out in the backyard that seems to be neglected. Also, there is an issue with trash and litter, which was reported on a separate Ureport ticket to sanitation.
My neighbor keeps tying his dog up on the front stoop and leaving him there. The problem is the dog can’t really move. He’s stuck on the stoop on maybe a 2-3 feet long tie up (at most) and he can’t run around or do anything but bark at the door to be let in. It’s beyond sad. He just got the dog recently so I’m thinking maybe he just needs to be educated.
Every time I walk or bike by this house, a dog charges at me and scares the crap out of me and my kids. It is tied up but the leash is long and hard to see. The dog comes at us at full speed before hitting the end of the leash almost at the street. I’m tired of being terrorized and it can’t be good for the dog either.
