I live directly behind individuals who repeatedly let their 2 dogs outside on their small, fenced-in patio at any hour of day - most offensively before 7am on weekdays and before 8am on weekends. The dogs bark incessantly whenever they are outside, and the owners allow them to remain outside for varying lengths of time, barking to be let into the house or at neighbors on their patios. This is a public nuisance and possible animal neglect. This has been ongoing since March 2021, and the Oaklawn Park HOA refuses to address it.
Dead deer (faun) that was probably hit by a car.
3 dogs fenced in. Many rabbits in yard in sloppy fenced area. They get out of the fence and get lost,go onto other people's yards. Not well taken care of. Have chickens in fence in area close to their house. They have 2 cats and birds in the house. When animal protection came once before the owner would not open the door. Also debris all over yard besides the crazy rabbit fence. They have made the neighborhood look awful. People walking by when they leave the door open it stinks badly.
The constant barking and howling of dogs keeps us from being able to sleep. We were tolerable up to a point, but the daily and nightly noise is just intolerable.
This is my 3rd complaint about dogs barking and howling during the day and at night. I have received answers from Animal Control that the owners promised to get park colors. Either they are not working or it did not happen. We need our sleep at night, and we want to enjoy our yard during the day. One of our neighbors has recordings and has also filed multiple complaints. We would really like your help, again. And please do not placate us again that you have talked to the owners. They seem reticent to input. All of us look forward to a permanent solution. There is an orange cat roaming around and scratching people and pets. It has been around for several days. Animal control is needed.
Dog left outside daily barking violently for 6-7 hours at a time. Has been going on for 2 weeks.
There is evidence that there is a dog inside the home which is sometimes left out in the backyard that seems to be neglected. Also, there is an issue with trash and litter, which was reported on a separate Ureport ticket to sanitation.
My neighbor keeps tying his dog up on the front stoop and leaving him there. The problem is the dog can’t really move. He’s stuck on the stoop on maybe a 2-3 feet long tie up (at most) and he can’t run around or do anything but bark at the door to be let in. It’s beyond sad. He just got the dog recently so I’m thinking maybe he just needs to be educated.
