Raccoon in neighbors yard, mid day walking in circles. Possibly injured or sick. Neighbors address 3511 w Festive Dr Bloomington IN. Neighbors not home or not answering door. Doesn't seem to care about people near by.
This evening, 6/22/20, approximately 7:30pm, my wife, 9 yr old aughter and I were walking on the streets in our neighborhood (Grandview), when an off leash pit bull charged and tried to attack our 10 month old English Springer. The pit bull was , again, off leash and it’s owner did not have any control of this animal. Somehow, the pit bull kept narrowly missing in its attack of our puppy but knocked me down during the melee. This could have had bad outcomes. Our other dog, a 4-yr old female Springer, was also walking with us, not to mention my daughter and wife. I and my family were quite shaken up. I’d like Animal Control to talk to the pit bull owner. Their address is 3620 E Grandview Dr, Bloomington 47408. Being attacked on the street is dangerous. That dog should not be off leash and able to charge at people and their dogs on public streets. We have an older population in our neighborhood. Only by grace did my dogs and family not get hurt.

Please note, I left a voicemail for this issue today, apologies for the redundancy. My name is Rachel, and I work for Mackie Properties in Bloomington. Our company manages the Batchelor Heights Homeowners Association, which houses the address I am reaching out about. Over the last three weeks, multiple residents have contacted our office to report pet-related issues occurring at 3725 S Cramer Cir. These issues include not cleaning up animal waste in this property's yard or around the community; an altercation in which a large, unattended, unleashed dog belonging to the occupants of this property was witnessed chasing another resident who was walking their leashed dog nearby; the occupants keeping their pets in their garage and leaving the garage door partially open; a potential pig being kept at the property; and allegedly, these residents left their front door completely open all day Saturday, January 15. The resident who reported that last issue attempted to inform the occupants that their front door was open by ringing the doorbell, but they received no answer. They could hear dogs barking and growing inside, and they could smell urine coming from inside the unit. After this, they contacted emergency services to request a welfare check for this property. We are concerned for the animals being kept at this property and the safety of the community. We have attempted to contact these residents and the homeowner but have not yet been successful. There is a dog in-front of the house , it is barking and harassing while walking that way . Yesterday it almost bit me.
A very large diluted calico cat, Dawn, hangs around Cramer Circle in Batchelor Heights but belongs to an owner in The Highlands. I have communicated with the owner numerous times about keeping her cat off my property. The cat being here is problematic because it causes fights between my two indoor cats when they see her outside. Additionally, this cat comes around to the back where my cats are sometimes out on the screened-in patio and causes them to get scared and upset. I am unsure of the owner's name but Animal Control gave me her phone number in June 2022 as 812-361-6796. Upon first contact with this person, she stated they had not seen the cat (Dawn) in over 6 months. Since then, they picked her up in back of my condo but they continue to let her outside and she finds her way back. They don't come look for her until I contact them repeatedly but even then they don't make efforts to get her and keep her in their home. I feel that the cat is neglected and needs rehomed somewhere more appropriate for outdoor cats. I have photos of the cat but this report would not submit with the photo included.
