I urge city officials to be proactive with covid-19 and the delta variant. Being proactive now will prevent long term closures and lost revenue of local businesses. CDC guidelines are requiring mask if you aren’t vaccinated fully, but it seems everybody is going maskless despite being vaccinated. Go back to having restrictions at restaurants, local businesses, and public events. The city and its citizens have loosened up too much and are being too relaxed about this virus. The same mindset in other countries is causing havoc! Signed a concerned pharmacist.

The city giving a "prize" for the mulching competition of an opportunity to buy a subscription service to a for profit company that proudly partners with anti LGBT chik fil a is messed up. Rethink your plan.

Changing a racist discriminatory street name to one that focuses on a denomination that just July 7, 2021, AGAIN voted against same sex unions is not the intersectional work I would expect from City Hall. https://www.hrc.org/resources/stances-of-faiths-on-lgbt-issues-african-methodist-episcopal-church

Since the American eugenics movement focused on physical and perceived mental disability/sexual orientation/social norms, is that represented in the renaming of Jordan Avenue?

Is Bloomington just going to ignore the fact that the homeless underneath grimes and Morton have set up a bicycle chop shop? Are we going to pretend the 20-30 bikes and hundred of bike parts their have not been stolen from tax paying citizens?

The condition around the area of grimes and Morton on the b-line gets worse and worse by the day. There is trash everywhere! There are several illegal dwellings. Lots of stolen items from tax paying citizens (bikes, shopping carts, signs, etc). Why has the city allowed this for 6+ months? I get it, you would rather have them there vs. campus area or seminary square, but you were elected to withhold the laws/rules of the city for tax paying citizens. So do your job!!!!

The situation on the b-line around grimes and Morton is apauling. The city should be embarrassed at how they are handling this. I guess I should say, not handling this. This is not a safe area for anyone!!!! Walkers, city workers, local employers, and even the homeless. When will something be done? When someone gets hurt, raped, or worse dies? If that happens the city needs held accountable in their lack of response!
