Following up on case# #185581: The people who ride those scooters are typically rude dismissive of common decency. They ride fast on sidewalks even when there are people present, they ride them in the dark in groups, sometimes 2-3 on a single scooter, they *often* ride the wrong way on one-way streets, and if you make a comment to them about hazards they are creating they curse and/or gesture obscenely. Please please please ban them from the city. Yesterday there was another accident - 10th/Woodlawn this time. Does the City really want to be known as a place that encourages people to risk their lives, and turn a blind eye when people are injured or killed? How many more accidents is it going to take for you to wake up and stop the insanity.

I am a Park and MC-IRIS adopt a Greenspace volunteer. Late afternoon I was volunteering to remove invasive plants in SEP and observed a white male adult driving a gas-powered motorbike at a high speed westbound on the Renwick trail and then driving up into a backyard about three houses south of the Moores Creek Pike parking lot. My park colleague informed me that this is illegal and to submit this as a U-report. This behavior endangers park and trail users.

Nathan Dahm is seeking to end asymmetric post cold war Chinese %10 import Chemical Psychological warfare. I hope the city is making note of the court cases and or pending up coming legislation. More so after city employee David Parkhurst responded to my petitions as unfounded stating such water treatments standards are harmless and there is no difference between Calcium v/s Sodium fluoride. But then again he is amoung the fools who supported Huston South Project 2,154 acres of herbicide in the water shed for Lake Monroe

Hi there, I have noticed a large increase in homeless activity in Bloomington this year. In the past, homeless individuals have largely remained in Seminary Park. Now, I see them camped in the park by Hartzell’s on Kirkwood, up by the square further north on Walnut, and even in Bryan Park. Homelessness is a complex problem and individuals in this situation face unfathomable challenges, but many of my peers and I feel their presence in social areas of Bloomington has negatively impacted the safety and cleanliness of the city. Just yesterday, I witnessed a homeless man harass a girl sitting in Brother’s Bar and Grill by slapping the window as if he was slapping her bottom through the window. It made me feel unsafe in my Bloomington home. Similarly, the park near Hartzell’s on Kirkwood is no longer an inviting place to eat ice cream with friends due to the mess left by homeless populations in this area. I am so sorry for their situation and challenges they face, but I do not want the homeless epidemic to impact the value and vibrance of the many lovely green spaces in Bloomington. For these reasons, I wanted to express my concerns about the spread of homelessness in Bloomington this past year and implore you to seek solutions for the issue. I am not an expert in social services or rehabilitation, so I am not sure if there are solutions to this problem, but I hope the city of Bloomington will take my concerns to heart to both help the homeless and improve the safety and well-being of Bloomington. City of Bloomington truck #415 pulled into Grab and Go around 3:15PM on 9.21.2020 and doored (opened his drivers side door and hit my passenger side door) my car. The picture is sideways.

Other: Re: uReport Case #171533 that was recently closed: (southwest corner of Kinser Pike and Rosewood). The utilities box (which contains full car-sized batteries and other electrical items) is, exposed. Someone has tied a strip of electrical tape around the box. Besides very temporary, it is also unsightly and unsafe. It does not secure the door if someone (say one of the children that frequents the area) should decide to remove the door and investigate the electrical devices inside. I think someone can and should do better. I keep getting the run around from AT&T and Comcast that neither boxes are theirs and am at an impasse. How else can we resolve this?

There is a Lime scooter blocking the driveway to the 6th Street Garage of the Monroe County Public Library. The garage and driveway are both used daily by our facilities and mobile outreach staff. I drive the Outreach Van and the scooter is parked in such a way that it blocks my ability to pull in and reverse the van in order to to load and unload it with materials for community members.

For the love of god, PLEASE clear all brush, trees, grasses, anything growing into the side path on the west side of Sare Rd and the side walk and side path on the east side of Sare Rd from Moores Pike south to East Rhoher Rd. Both sides need cleared and cut back. Someone came out and cut back ONE bush that was overgrown but the rest of the problems down the path were barely touched and continue to reduce the side path to half it's original width. Same just north of Rogers and Sare traffic circle, on east side of Sare. It's been like that for years with little to no response to ureports or work actually being completed. The stretch north of Rhoher on eastside of Sare needs mowed REGULARLY. It is also severely angled, has rough broken surface and is not safe for anyone using a wheelchair or electric runabout scooter. Please send someone out that can take care of our tax dollar community investments. Thank you.
