TV news says you are still trying to track red vehicle, but their video shows the license plate#. Isn't that enough info to find the party's involved?

Other: Re: uReport Case #171533 that was recently closed: (southwest corner of Kinser Pike and Rosewood). The utilities box (which contains full car-sized batteries and other electrical items) is, exposed. Someone has tied a strip of electrical tape around the box. Besides very temporary, it is also unsightly and unsafe. It does not secure the door if someone (say one of the children that frequents the area) should decide to remove the door and investigate the electrical devices inside. I think someone can and should do better. I keep getting the run around from AT&T and Comcast that neither boxes are theirs and am at an impasse. How else can we resolve this?

out walking tonight (7/10) I saw that there was a very large backyard graduation party taking place at 2207 E Covenanter in Bloomington, at a conservative estimate 50-60 people ranging from teenagers to senior citizens and not a single mask that I could see...playing tennis and generally socializing in a way that didn't seem particularly cautious just thought you should know, because if there's an outbreak in town those are folks you're going to want to talk to

Weeks wait at the only free testing site in town is unacceptable. Find them a location. Especially with IU students now needing tested. We're failing and all we have to do is give these folks a building.

Masks should be required at all city events. Why isn't this the case?

Disappointing to read that local police don't want to actually promote public health and assist with a mask ordinance. Definitely lends credence that they are only interested in heavy-handed "crimefighting" and not true public safety. Bloomington, it's time to move from a police approach to a public safety approach. You can argue against defunding the police all you want, but when police only want to "save" people with guns and force instead of public health, we're no better than those departments on the news; we're only killing people in a different way. Time to rethink the way we are caring for our community. More nurses, social workers, and compliance personnel and less bearcats, bullets, and badges, anyone? I'm not even a rabblerouser, just sick of political hypocrisy.

Prosecutor and Mayors view on taxes that were in paper the week ending July 19th. I was out of town all week and read the newspaper and for the first time in my 72 years living here was embarrassed to say this was my hometown and am ready to move out of this town.

Can there be an education campaign about how to wear to masks. So many people have them below their noses, such as a waitress at a business I was just at

Messages from the COB Violation Hotline: 7/25 11:35AM A man called reporting that there were 15+ people in Seminary Park not wearing masks. The caller also wanted to "warn" Mayor Hamilton that "patriots are warming up the park." 7/25 3:07PM A caller reports that the Marathon gas station on South Walnut (corner of 37 and Tapp Road) is not requiring customers to wear masks inside the store, and the employees were not wearing masks either. Caller said there was an employee behind the counter stocking cigarettes who just "shrugged" when asked why he did not have a mask on.

My wife and I are very concerned about local businesses attracting out of towners due to relatively lax covid regulations. We understand attendees are flocking to The Wilds for weddings, with 100+ attendees coming from all over the country, including covid hot spots. This is a serious safety concern for the town.
