The curb that encloses the parking lot in front of Turquaz Cafe is a hazard to vehicles. It's very difficult to park in the provided spaces because there's a ditch meeting that much higher curb just behind it. It leaves too little room for drivers to maneuver out of a parking space and out of the lot. I often eat at this restaurant and several times have been blocked in due to trucks parking in adjacent spaces. This makes the already difficult task of maneuvering out of the space impossible. And I've damaged my car on the ditch and curb. At the very least, the spots should be labeled for compact cars only. Ideally, the curb would be removed and the lot repaved. There is a Bird scooter abandoned at the corner of 1st and S. Sheridan. It has not been moved in over a week, other than when I have to pick it up out of the roadway.

Illegal parking happens all the time. Orange curb needs to be repainted. I see people park here all the time and it makes it dangerous when people turn right onto E. University St. from Henderson.
