I’ve had some health problems while staying in my apartment here in fountain park apartments due to black mold and a mice infestation. The black mold was found in my kitchen next to the water heater where it had flooded that year and soaked into the wood and rotted. They sprayed it with something to make it go away but I believe it’s still inside of the walls and other parts of the apartment. I’ve been having breathing problems the entire time I’ve stayed here and have documented it all. The apartment manager had someone do an air test inside and outside of the apartment. I don’t feel safe because of my existing health issues and I barely stay in my apartment. My apartment has flooded many times and according to my neighbor this has happened for years because of poor plumbing.
I have two grandsons under the age of five and I cannot get the leasing manager to have the air conditioner serviced. It is 85 degrees in the apartment blowing hot air. I have made numerous service requests. 3200 E Longview Avenue #55, Bloomington, IN 47408
Not shoveling snow on sidewalk
Trash in alley from Kilroys has been worse each day this week.
Sidewalks not cleared
Overflowing recycling/trash carts left unattended for over 2 weeks at 620 W 8th street.
Trash bins left by street.
See case #186242. Not as much sewage right now due to tenants being on break this week, but the problem has not been corrected. Once it gets cold and the tenants return, the constant flow of sewage on the sidewalk will create an ice hazard in addition to the already present infection/contamination hazard. Please force property owner to correct the problem ASAP, and at least before winter. If the Planning is allowing him to build more (unneeded) rentals in the neighborhood (e.g., E. Cottage Grove), he should be required to perform at least some upkeep of the ones he is already responsible for.
