This house is abandoned and has been for at least the 8 years we've lived on the street. There is often excessive overgrowth and the backyard is literally growing INTO the structure of the home. It's a fire hazard and a danger to young children in the neighborhood. Recently, we tried to get our escaped cat from the backyard and I was absolutely stunned by the horrible conditions I saw in the rear of the home. Pests are likely breeding like crazy in the home - we've had two RATS killed by our cat in our yard this year. I've seen roaches on the driveway. It's awful! WHY can't the city do ANYTHING about this abandoned danger before something major happens?
I have noticed golden bamboo along this side road and then on S on S Rogers St toward Old Highway 37
Too much trash piling here every day
We can see a stand of bamboo (not sure what kind) along the north edge of Winslow Woods, which is adjacent to the property mentioned above.
These pompous neighbors have blocked sidewalk where I avoided car for years. This area is full of blocked sidewalks, pesticides and yard signs in right of way and illegal fencing in easements im tired of it. Neighborhood should never have been built this way. If I have diarrhea and need to cut thru steeplechase to get to toilet at Oaklawn park and I get yelled at I’ll sue for improper easements no sidewalks or alleys East -West in city limits
After the last storm yesterday, dead trees in Winslow farm woods fell down, one towards my house, and some within the forest. Would you survey the dead trees to avoid possible damage to my property from Winslow woods forrest, and remove the fallen down ones. Also have a few fall down by my neighbors. Worried next storm will bring dead ones fall on my house. Thank you
More than one person is sick with bronchitis in multiple units in the building. The doctor states that bronchitis can be caused by materials that pollute indoor air. I know that we all share one furnace where one unit has control over the temperature of all six apartments in the building. There was questionable contaminated water that was sitting in a unit for the month that the residents were getting sick; it was plunged down the drained Monday 11/7. Though the water is not there anymore, the health and safety of the ventilation & air quality is still in question. I also cannot open the windows easily to the whole apartment to let fresh air in (is that a fire hazard?)
Please disregard previous ticket: The properties behind Two Stick bakery is nasty. Though Two Sticks has nothing to do with this I'm just calling them out so you know where to go. The problem is in the properties to the east of the north/south alley. There's a mattress, broken chairs, plastic bags, and overgrown vegetation. There's also a truck that never seems to leave eventhough it looks operable. I've seen rats in the area.
