I live on West Ezekiel Drive in Bloomington, which is part of the Summit Woods HOA. I've owned my home at this address for over three years, long before the rest of the neighborhood was developed. Since the neighborhood has filled in, the townhouses on my street have not been served by Bloomington city trash or recycling, leaving residents and nearby students in an apartment complex to pile trash in two hastily placed dumpsters in the drive behind our row of homes. As of tonight, the dumpsters are, once again, overflowing with trash, with full trash bags and loose trash blowing around our back yards and flocks of black birds feeding on the scraps. I have three children who often play outside, and several of my neighbors also have young children as well. Not only is this situation an on-going eyesore, but it is also dangerous and a sanitation risk for residents and families in the neighborhood.
The city of Bloomington has told us that since this is a private street, there is nothing they can do to help. I’m writing to ask if you will help us address this immediate mess and also help us find a long-term solution to this perpetual problem. All of the homeowners on this street pay thousands of dollars in HOA fees every year only to see our street overrun with trash, which, ultimately, will depress property values and/or resale potentials. This situation is unacceptable and I'm hoping you to help us hold the HOA accountable and also help us find a new, more reliable and sanitary solution for the dumpsters. Every other house in our development has curb-side trash and recycling, including units literally across the street from us.
I have reached out to Summit Woods HOA numerous times and they have never returned my calls or emails.
Thank you so much for your help. You're welcome to call or email me if you have further questions.

We are in parkview apartments at 1700 N Walnut Street. There is no hot water since about 10 days. There is no heating since a week. And from two days, there is not even water. We called and contacted the property management many times, and each they say that the issue will fixed within a day or two. They have broken boilers as shown in the pictures and they are not putting appropriate effort to fix them, or even better, replace them with new ones since they are very old. Yesterday they tried to fix them and all apartments in the building ended up with no water at all. We need immediate action from your side to get the management working on these issues. The apartments are managed by varsity properties in Bloomington Indiana

The owner appears to be a hoarder. There are many old vehicles, equipment and junk all over the property. It is an eyesore and devalues the nearby properties.

Persistent issues with loose trash bags (shown in this photo) from Dec. 9, toppled commercial trash bins, large items left on tree plot (the wood pallet has been leaning on that tree in photo for 4 weeks), and encroachments on sidewalk. All this is on the University St. side of the corner house of 624 S. Fess.

Retaining wall is collapsing. Large stones are now blocking the alley to vehicular traffic on the east side of the property. Other stones are ready to fall and are dangerous. Property owner was made aware of this a month ago, but has neglected to even pick up the stones, let alone repair the wall.

Cambridge Square Apartment bldg303 unit 313. Manager Diane Cook rented me an apartment which had bed bugs. She knew of these conditions and denied numerous current and past residents treatment for what is infecting our apartments. Then she routinely blames clients to get them evicted which she is currently trying to do to me!
