Over growth blocking view of north south traffic on Grant st while traveling east on Davis st.
Over growth on the corner is preventing stopped traffic on Davis from seeing cross traffic.
Excessive tree and bush growth in the back yard has expanded to the street. Cars eastbound must cross over in to the other lane.
overgrowth of trees & bimpending umpeeding the passability of sidewalk
Who is responsible for trimming back all the vegetation blocking the sidewalk along the south side of Azalea Lane between Walnut Creek and Winslow Farms? The sidewalk is impassable causing pedestrians to walk on the narrow roadway.
On the north side of the newly-paved 7th Street, between Dunn and College Avenues, there are numerous locations where sewer and water drain covers are sinking into the ground...it is excessively bumpy, hazardous and only going to get worse unless addressed immediately.
While you are on Nancy Street for the obscured speed limit sign(#180344), can you check the corner of Nancy and Hillside? When you want to turn left or right from Nancy onto Hillside, the shrubs of the corner house on the left are obscuring the view and motorists may have problems seeing what is coming from the left. Thank you.
I'm writing with a suggestion. I spend quite a bit of time walking and running within Bloomington. Outside of the B-line (where my experience has been mixed), I find that car drivers rarely yield to pedestrians and marked pedestrian crosswalks. I wanted to suggest that the city consider adding flashing lights to the signage at crosswalks, in the hope that it would make drivers aware they're approaching a crosswalk, and be more likely to yield to pedestrians. Thanks.
Please post an update on the Vernal Pike/Seventeenth Street project. Seventeenth Street was closed in April 2019 and was to be reopened in November 2019. When will the street be opened?
Thank you for the completion of the Sare Rd pedestrian path! Just outstanding! We who live in Hyde Park can now safely cross the street and access the neighborhoods and parks on the west side of the road and connect to Southeast Park! Wonderful!
