We don’t have any crosswalks for several blocks in either direction, and there are many families with young children who live in the immediate vicinity. We have a lot of traffic coming north off the bridge that are driving way too fast, and it’s extremely dangerous to cross the street here. With talk of adding curbs and repairing the sidewalk at my property, 1107 N Madison, I suggest putting a crosswalk over Madison st, on the south side of 15th. (Photo above). I regularly witness vehicles, both emergency workers and civilians, driving so fast that It is incredible dangerous to cross the street, even for an adult. A bump up crosswalk, like is being Installed on the new 17th/vernal pike, would go a long way towards slowing vehicles down and making them more aware of their surroundings. Even without a bump out sidewalk, a marked crosswalk is absolutely needed. Please respond to talk more about it!

Several months ago a vehicle drove into and knocked down a light pole on the opposite corner. Due to that, there have been metal cables coiled up on the corner of 11th and Fairview. Now they have fallen into the right of way of the sidewalk. This is dangerous and I respectfully ask that it be fixed. Thank you.

The occupants of this house stand in the doorway smoking cigarettes and when they are done they throw them into the street. I have seen this many times and they take no caution about any pedestrians who are walking on a sidewalk right into the path of a flying lit cigarette. I do not feel comfortable approaching these people. Thank you for checking on this ongoing littering problem.

The person at this house has had two snow plows stored on the street since winter. The one plow is fairly wide and it is a hazard with the cars parked on the other side of the road.

This time I have included a photo. This is how the sidewalk and gutter has been since I moved here a year ago. Disgusting. Note the cigarettes on the sidewalk as those are the ones thrown from the door with complete disregard for people walking in the public right of way. Previous Ureport is #175706. I put in a uReport for a block street but I think that was a wrong category choice. That was #176656. Now I would like to know if people are able to buy permits for parking their plows on the street?
