The occupants of this house stand in the doorway smoking cigarettes and when they are done they throw them into the street. I have seen this many times and they take no caution about any pedestrians who are walking on a sidewalk right into the path of a flying lit cigarette. I do not feel comfortable approaching these people. Thank you for checking on this ongoing littering problem.
This time I have included a photo. This is how the sidewalk and gutter has been since I moved here a year ago. Disgusting. Note the cigarettes on the sidewalk as those are the ones thrown from the door with complete disregard for people walking in the public right of way. Previous Ureport is #175706. You guys ever gonna trim these bushes growing over sidewalk or you just gonna wait until someone gets mugged or hit by a bike? Literally in a heavily used and seen area. You guys lacking employees or something?
I put in a uReport for a block street but I think that was a wrong category choice. That was #176656. Now I would like to know if people are able to buy permits for parking their plows on the street? Two trees are down in this area due to storm. Neighborhood residents removed trees from street and most of tree from sidewalk. Some of the trees have been cut into manageable pieces and are piled in yards. Some pieces weren’t able to be cut before dark.
Tree on property is growing out across sidewalk at a height well below 8 feet, impeding pedestrian access.
Sidewalks were recently replaced on two blocks of west 13th. But one half block from Fairview west to the next East-West alley was untouched. This is what it looks like. A neighbor living on this block is in a wheelchair. The sidewalk is unsafe and not navigable. Why was this half block omitted in the much needed replacement?
