The issue with this ongoing construction site continues. The workers on-site drove over the silt fence that was supposed to stop concrete run off and they have made no attempts to fix it. Every single time it rains, there is a build up of run off on the sidewalk that prevents water from draining properly and is contaminating the water systems with who knows what. The property has not ever disposed of it properly either (they literally just shovel it onto a tree stump instead of renting a proper disposal receptacle).

Hi, I was with my daughter at the Southeast Park playground today and noticed an unusual plant near the swings and hobby horses with a tiny tomato-like fruit. My plant app identified it as Carolina horse nettle, which is a member of the nightshade family and is poisonous. I pulled and discarded all the plants I saw in the area with berries, but I am concerned that this plant is present on a playground and wanted to alert you. The berries look a lot like tiny tomatoes or globe eggplant and would appear edible to many. Thanks for your time!

There are two people driving and muddying on an atv through the RCA park woods.

Abandoned Vehicle in the parking lot across from where I live. It has been there over a year. It has a license plate in the front driver's window near the VIN. The vehicle has not been moved. Overgrowth of foliage and brush from the property at 701 N Woodlawn Ave extends into the sidewalk and poses a hazard to pedestrians and passerby. Google Maps lists the property as bearing the addresses 701, 703 & 705; or 829 E Cottage Grove Ave.
