Due to the rain yesterday, my basement has flooded and many others in Winslow Farms have as well. There is not enough drainage in place to handle the water that comes to my immediate area with a heavy rain. I have a storm drain in the backyard between my home and the neighbors. This drain is not sufficient to deal with the water for this whole area. Many times during the year in heavy rains, this drain gets overwhelmed and we get a large pool in backyard. Unfortunately, this time, the water rose to a point where it entered into my basement and I am now dealing with many thousands in damage. It seems that someone from the city needs to come analyze the drainage situation in this area of Winslow farms and some additional drainage systems or drains need to be added. Please let me know what other info is needed to assist in the process.
Best,
Amy Kopp

I have noticed large canine waste left on Karst Farm Park grounds while walking my small dog. Can you all do anything about this as the is a health hazard for the public?

There is an aggressive cat in our neighborhood. It is gray with white markings - chest is white. I've never gotten a great look at it. It's fast.
I'm aware of 4 attacks on other cats over the last few months: my neighbor's cat was attacked, my own cat was attacked (required stitches), the cat came into another neighbor's house through a cat door and tangled with a cat in the house (I saw it then also and tried to capture it but failed), and this morning my wife heard/saw it attacking another neighborhood cat.
I don't know if it belongs to a neighbor or is just wild. I don't see it often.

The deer population in our neighborhood is totally out of control. Neighbor & her husband counted 22 deer in one area near here last night & I counted 10 in one yard yesterday. One buck has a ten point rack or larger. Often 4 buck in one herd….multiply that with major population of doe and you & I can only guess estimate the population!
With Winslow Woods near by they have a wooded habitat yet hardwoods & most decent timber is being destroyed. This woods could be sequestered for a controlled bow hunt. Families could receive venison with proper processing.
Im certain you’ve heard much of this before, yet please drive near Hickory Stick & surrounding area betweeng 6-8pm to inspect our concerns.

The street light at the end of drive is out. Please fix. On your map it’s either 7 or 10. The one at bottom of my driveway. Thank you!

There is consistently debris around the building from the ongoing rennovations. Often broken glass, overflowing trash, and other unsightly and potentially hazardous materials.

I am a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bloomington which is located on E 6th Street between Washington Street and Lincoln Streets. The alley that runs from 7th Street to 6th Street is usually cleared after snowfalls. The alley was only cleared up to the intersection with the alley this time and not the entire alley. Since our parking lot entrances were cut off by the new 7 Line project, we use the alleyway as the entrance to our parking lot. We would greatly appreciate if you would plow the entire alleyway as you have in past years. Thank you!
