There is a homeless camp setting up at College Mall Rd and Moore’s pike road near the movie theater. Lot of debris near the road.

There were several homeless people building a camp near the stoplight at College Mall Rd & E Moore’s Pike. They had shopping carts, bikes and debris by the sidewalk and road. I live and walk through this neighborhood and don’t want to see it become a homeless camp.

Hello, I live on the south side of Bloomington on Coolidge Drive. Down the road from broad view learning center. I had noticed last year that road maintenance had placed speed bumps on all the Broadview neighborhood streets but Coolidge road. They are also now adding permanent speed bumps throughout the neighborhood but haven’t seen any signs that they will out any on Coolidge. Coolidge has a hill coming down from the school leading to Rogers. People fly down this road at 40+ MPH just to slam on their brakes before getting to the stop sign. It is a major concern of mine since people walk the side walks regularly. I’ve had my mailbox hit several times because the road is also smaller than normal and with flying cars then people over correct and cause damage to peoples property and their own cars. I would like to propose also adding a speed bump on Coolidge to help with the very fast and dangerous driving. Thank you, Kegan Smith

Above the entrance to Sycamore Village there is a silver wire hanging from one of the overhead utility lines that is quite low.

The Graduate Hotel has turned its tree plot ground on the Lincoln St. side into gravel. Did the city approve this? In the past, the City Forester has not approved converting planting ground into gravel beds around trees.

Homeless encampment

Good Afternoon. I hope that someone in your department can check into this issue. In the 1200 block of South Madison Street, the westside sidewalk is blocked by what used to be (I assume) a sofa and a downed tree. The sofa has been there for a couple of weeks & the tree came down this past weekend. I live in the 1400 block and drive past it daily so I, and I'm sure the rest of my neighbors, would truly appreciate it if these problems could be taken care of. Thank you so much! What is the proper protocol for trash illegally dumped at the road? I got a citation as property owner that I have to clean up, stuff that was dumped in the street, according to the inspector most is in our yard so we have to clean it up. Which is a lie most is in your street and a little is in the tree plot. I don’t think I should be responsible to clean up what someone illegally dumped in your streets.
