My neighborhood (Near West Side) has been experiencing a very intense burning trash smell most nights for the past two months. This has been an ongoing issue for the past two years that I’ve lived here, but it has intensified. It causes me headaches and forces me to keep my windows closed and waste energy running my air conditioning. It’s not possible to walk around outside; this only happens at night. There are no neighbors or homeless people burning trash (I have walked around and looked, including on nearby train tracks). I have smelled this same smell coming from JB Salvage. Please help us! This is definitely causing long term health effects for this whole neighborhood.

My husband and I are present members of the YMCA, and go this facility often. We are concerned about the lack of cleanliness of the locker room, bathrooms and the drinking fountains. This is a health risk to our community, with the potential for diseases. Also, the drinking fountain in the track area is warm, plus never cleaned. Another example is in the shower. I have seen something left accidently like a shampoo bottle, and I will see it there for weeks at a time. The shower smells of urine,and it is NOT clean. Again, we are very concerned about possible diseases. The health department needs to do an inspection. My husband and I have complained to the YMCA multiple times, but nothing has changed. The parking garages are said to be free after 5pm on Fridays, all day Saturday, and all day Sundays; however, I parked in there yesterday (Saturday) and had to pay when I left. The gates are still closed and red so i’m assuming the same will be for today.

Both Trades District Garage and 4th Street Garage charging do not work. Several business owners from out of town visited with their EVs and could not charge their vehicles while visiting downtown Bloomington. Our next meeting is in two weeks. Can you resolve this problem? I talked to EV Connect, and they stated there is nothing wrong with the hardware and the maintenance is a policy put in place by the City.

Hilton Remodel getting tiresome. This morning one of my co-workers had to drive over carpeting to get to his parking spot. We constantly have to avoid workers and forktrucks and debris everywhere. This has gone on for months. Also now there are garbage dumpsters overflowing that we have to walk past to get into our building. This is ridiculous. We pay for parking in this garage and have been tolerant but this is getting very tiresome. I've had to pick up large staples from beside and behing my vehicle at night to keep from getting flat tires. It's time something is done and especially now that there are numerous nasty dumpsters to walk past!

uReport Case #179576Thanks for looking into these issues. The carpet is gone, however the overflowing garbage dumpsters are still there and still overflowing. Why, after all these years that the Hilton has been there, have they now started to put their garbage dumpsters in the walking exit area? And they are always overflowing. They have never been there before until the last couple of weeks or so. They fall on the ground and come open and then we have to step around food stuff everywhere etc, it's nasty and gross. By the way, this complaint is actually for myself and others.

The south elevator numbering does not match the parking level numbers, you press 4 and end up on parking level 5, to get to parking level 7 you have to press 6. The north elevator numbering is correct
